4 Facial Exercises to Get Rid of Wrinkles

Today’s modern woman has access to a seemingly endless carousel of Face Yoga routines, secrets, tricks, and tips – but you need to know how to spot the scams from the science. If removing wrinkles on your forehead, jawline, chin, eyes, and cheeks is a priority for you, the solution is easier than you think.

The ‘Surprise Brows’ With ongoing activation of your frontalis muscle (the muscle responsible for forehead movement), you can increase forehead tone and help iron out fine lines. And it’s so easy to do: Place your fingers on your forehead, facing inwards Pull your fingers gently outwards to smooth the skin Raise and lower your eyebrows as if you were surprised or shocked Make sure you maintain gentle outward pressure to pull your skin taut while performing your eyebrow lifts Repetitions: Repeat this facial exercise 10 times

Eyes Exercise Look straight ahead (sitting or standing comfortably) Look from left to right, slowly rotating your eye from one side to the other (like you were throwing a flirty glance to the cute barista at Starbucks) Repeat this movement looking from the ceiling to the floor Make sure you keep your jaw immobile as only the eyes should be moving for optimal results Repetitions: Repeat this facial exercise 5 times in each direction

Speak "O" Form your mouth into the shape of an “O” You can verbally say “oh” if it helps you maintain the shape of your lips That’s it! This sound helps you build up the muscles of your cheek for a more defined look that reduces wrinkles, and all it takes is an ‘O’ so easy facial exercise. Repetitions: Repeat this facial exercise 10 times

Cheeks Exercise You’ll need your hands to help with this facial exercise, so make sure they’re clean Pinch your cheeks on either side of your mouth, in the area your smile lines typically form Smile as wide as you possibly can until you feel gentle resistance from the muscles of your cheeks (this means you’re doing the pose correctly) Create gentle resistance against your smile, pulling your cheeks back down so that your hands are providing force one way, and the muscles of your cheek are providing force in the other direction Repetitions: Repeat this facial exercise 5 to 10 times
