The HARVEST INSTITUTE

In Newark, the Main Campus is located only 15 minutes from midtown Manhattan and less than 30 minutes from the financial district of New York City “Wall Street”. In Long Branch, the Campus is located on the shore less than an hour from Manhattan. Our campus in Orlando is vibrant, modern, and it offers the latest technology in the classroom. The location is in the heart of the International Drive and in the center of the Florida High Tech Corridor. However, our courses are taught all over the globe. Our two week “Executive Certificate” program was designed to empower entrepreneurs, business students, and people who want to learn the language of business in depth. This program encases the most powerful and complete short certification program any institution can offer.

Finance

This certification is focused in finance and for that reason is held in our Main Campus in Newark, NJ which is located only 15 minutes from midtown Manhattan and less than 30 minutes from the financial district of New York City “Wall Street”.

Monday to Thursday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Week 1

Monday: Introduction to the course and Business English - Greetings, cross cultural customes, traditions, and vocabulary enrichment. Tuesday: Business English – General language for financial approaches, vocabulary for finance industry, and corrections on commonly made mistakes. Wednesday: Introduction to a more advanced finance vocabulary, Business English writing, emails, and letters. Thursday morning: Seminar Part One with a seasoned professional in the finance industry, covering Market Equity Capitals and Corporate finance. (Includes Case study and EB5 visa process – for business people looking to live and invest in the USA). Thursday afternoon: Lunch in New York City, a visit to the financial district and the Liberty tower monument.

Week 2

Monday: Seminar Part Two includes case study and assessment through simulations. Tuesday morning: Business English. Tuesday afternoon:Visit to corporate headquarters (TBA) in New York City and a seminar with an executive during the visit. You will learn about the company, financial structure, and an in-depth inside information on the updates the company is making in the near future. Wednesday: Business English covering in depth the linguistics approaches for finance and conversational patterns when doing business in English. Thursday: We will cover all topics studied during the program, refresh memory session, debate topics and make adjustments for an assessment of content. In the last hour, there will be a question and answer session and the Certification will be complete with the delivery of your “Executive Certificate in Finance”.


Entrepreneurship This certification is focused on entrepreneurship and is held in Newark - NJ, Orlando - FL, and Los Angeles - CA.

Monday to Thursday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Week 1

Tuesday: Business English – General language for entrepreneurial approaches, vocabulary for business, negotiation, and corrections on commonly made mistakes. Wednesday: Introduction to a more advanced finance vocabulary, Business English writing, emails, and letters (formal and informal). Thursday morning: Seminar Part One with a seasoned professional in the field, covering Entrepreneurship. (Includes Case study and EB5 visa process – for business people looking to live and invest in the USA). Thursday afternoon: Lunch in the city and a visit to key points of the 5 city relevant to entrepreneurship.

Week 2

Monday: Seminar Part Two includes case study and assessment through simulations. Tuesday morning: Business English. Tuesday afternoon: Visit to a major company corporate headquarters and a seminar with an executive during the visit. You will learn about the company’s vision, structure, and an in-depth inside information on future ventures. Wednesday: Business English covering the linguistic approaches for the entrepreneurial field and conversational patterns when doing business in English. Thursday: We will cover all topics studied during the program, refresh memory session, debate topics and make adjustments for an assessment of content. In the last hour, there will be a question and answer session and the Certification will be complete with the delivery of your “Executive Certificate in Entrepreneurship”.

Corporate

Business Finance and

This certification is focused on Corporate Business and Finance and is held in Newark - NJ, Orlando FL, and Los Angeles - CA. Monday to Thursday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Week 1

Monday: Introduction to the course and Busines s English - Greetings, cross cultural customes, traditions, and vocabulary enrichment. Tuesday: Business English - English for corporate and industry related real life situations, vocabulary aquisition, idioms, and correction of commonly made mistakes. Wednesday: Introduction to a more advanced finance vocabulary, Business English writing, emails,andletters (formalandinformal). Thursday morning: Seminar Part One with a seasoned professional in the finance and corporate business (Includes Case study and EB5 visa process – for business people looking to live and invest in the USA) Thursday afternoon: Lunch downtown and a visit to key points of the city relevant to corporate and financial areas of expertise.

Week 2

Monday morning: Seminar Part Two includes case study and assessment through simulations. Tuesday morning: Business English. Tuesday afternoon: Visit to a corporate headquarter, tour the business and learn from the corporate officers about the company’s vision, financial behavior, in-depth inside information on the new ventures the company will be investing in the near future. Wednesday: Business English covering in depth linguistic approaches and conversational patterns for business people while doing business and negotiating. Thursday: We will cover all topics studied during the program, refresh memory session, debate topics and make adjustments for an assessment of content. In the last hour, there will be a question and answer session and the Certification will be complete with the delivery of your “Executive Certificate in Corporate Business and Finance”.
