Smith & Howard

The Love between two brought us here. The love amongst us keeps us here. The mourning of lost one is brings us even closer then before. We aren't your ordinary family we love with every ounce of our body and imagine with every thought of our body but the most important thing is that we are each others best-friends.

This family will always love and protect one another. Take care of one any when each other is down at his or her lowest point. This family will always help each other get back on their feet. When all odds our against this family we pull close together and make it through. This is the meaning of family to us.

! In my life I have been faced with many challenges and obstacles. When I was in 7th grade I tore my ACL and wasn’t able to play basketball. I went through rehab the doctors said i ripped it pretty good and probably wouldn't be able to play basketball again if rehab didn't go well. When I wanted to give up my mom wouldn't let me she kept push me every step of the way. Telling me “It’s going to hurt son you just got to push through it.” Everyday I would go through that pain and fight through everyday. After 8 months the rehab people said I should be able to play ball again. My first game back was so much pain I couldn’t play defense like I used and I also couldn’t run as fast as I could it hurt when i made sharp cuts. I want it to quit but everyday my mom reminded me how much i love basketball and day by day the pain started to fade away. Then it all faded away and I was back to playing normal. When I was a kid I watched my mom struggle hard to make a living for me buying me all these expensive things. She didn’t have a man to rely on she always told me I was her man and she would always take care of me as long as I took care of her. My mom is the reason behind basketball for me thats why I guess I’m willing to go out on that court and give it my all. I want to make it somewhere so I can pay my mom back for all those overtime hours and money she put in on my basketball career. My mom I love her so much we have an unbreakable bond between us two. I mean no one will ever be able to get in the way off that. Ever since I was young we did everything together. I was all ways by my moms side. I’m still a momma’s boy till this very day and always will be. We’ve been through so much together and our love has kept us through all the hard times we’ve been through. My mom means the world to me and even though we don’t agree on everything I love her to death for everything she’s done for me. Ever since I started basketball my moms never missed a single game she’s always been there for me routing in the crowds. She’s a second coach to me I can hear when I’m on the court and she calls out everything I can’t see. She’s helped me so much I wouldn’t know what to do if she ever missed one of my games every night I go
