PROJECT 1 THE MASTERPIECE
A masterpiece is an outstanding piece of work of a master, often considered the greatest piece that has been given much critical praise by his contemporaries and beyond, for outstanding creativity, skill and profound workmanship. A masterpiece is a creation in any area of arts which we, for some reason, think deserves reverence.
Students are to critically analyze a chosen piece of work from various field of arts that is considered a masterpiece, a subsequently produce a series of exploratory works leading up to a final work which showcase their understanding of ideas behind the selected work.

PROJECT 2 DECODING NATURE
The world is an interesting place of natural wonders which come in different shapes, form, colours and texture, often composed in good proportion or balance, gradually transform from one shape to another. Since the proces of creative design often involves the use of basic vicuals elements - point, line and plane, as well as the organizational rules and principles for 'putting it all together' into a coherent composition or structure, natural wonders offer a useful insight to assist designers in developing their sensitivity to these visual qualities, essentially imparting visual interest and meaning in visualizing one's idea.

3D FAÇADE SCREEN
As a way of realizing overall understanding of basic vocabulary of design language from the preceding projects, students are to create a 3D screen of lattice work, of which design idea derives from the exploration of a cultural cues of their choice. It shall be a work of a creative composition of design elements that reflect their ideas of the various design language learned and explored. A closed examination of the facades screen shall precede the task in order to understand how principles and elements of design are being applied to architectural composition.
