This project captures the spontaneous, haphazard essence of summer—the dry heat, the bright sea, and the explosion of color that defines the season. There’s no rigid structure or planning in this work; it’s about embracing the fleeting moments of summer where everything feels extraordinary, even in its most ordinary forms. Shot on film, the images reflect a sense of relaxed abandon, where time slows down and the usual rules of life seem to fade away. Summer vacation is temporary, and this project reflects that impermanence—how, in those moments of heat and freedom, even the smallest details—whether it’s the sun reflecting off the sea or the vibrant color of a sun-baked landscape—become something to hold onto. The work is about capturing that carefree, almost accidental beauty that makes summer unforgettable.
