Liberty Sport – A Proud Sponsor of the Veterans Charity Ride to Sturgis
The Next Great Tradition began with the ‘Veterans Charity Ride to Sturgis’, a campaign and ride to build awareness and create support for vets wounded and severely injured across the nation. This week long journey (started this past August) of more than a dozen veterans by America’s first motorcycle company, Indian Motorcycle and Full Vision Productions who filmed this journey to Sturgis, South Dakota. This 2 week adventure marked an incredible journey for the riders and was an even bigger success than imagined. Conversations are already in the works with Indian Motorcycle for another event with even more veterans. Liberty Sport’s range of protective eyewear solutions that are able to accommodate and Rx and the range of technology solutions provided by our collections, over 14 veterans on this ride were provided with prescription and non-prescription eyewear to keep their eyes safe on the seven day journey. This ride received great support and coverage across Liberty Sport and Switch social media with full online coverage from the Veterans Charity Ride to Sturgis Facebook, Twitter and Instagram feeds. THE EL SALVADOR PROJECT: Proof Donates Over $12K to the Communities of El Salvador
Proof Eyewear and HELP International teamed up to serve the communities of El Salvador in Central America this summer. Members of both the Proof and HELP crew partnered up with a group of volunteers in executing projects related to economic development, environmental conservation, education, and visual health. “We’re really excited to release the photo and video footage to those who play the biggest role in our Do Good Program, our customers. The Travel Journal allows them to join us on our journey from start to finish.” Tanner Dame, COO of Proof Eyewear. The project started with the design of special edition sunglasses; the colorful print on the wooden frames was inspired by internationally recognized Salvadoran artist, Fernando Llort Choussy. Each frame was handcrafted using a complete skateboard deck with the printed El Salvador Project graphic, showing that each purchase is part of something bigger. 100% of proceeds from the sale of this unique design was donated to the El Salvador Project.
Philanthropic Eyewear Brand Paws N’ Claws Serves Its Mission, Presents ASPCA with Over $11,000 Charitable eyewear company Paws N’ Claws donates a portion of proceeds to the ASPCA after steady growth. Eyewear company Paws N’ Claws Eyewear, a division of Eye Deals Eyewear, recently presented the ASPCA with a check in the amount of $11,324.14 in collaboration with California Accessories and Windsor Eyes. A portion of proceeds from all sales of Paws N’ Claws Eyewear branded eyewear and accessories gets donated to the ASPCA.
Sam Shapiro, President of Paws N’ Claws Eyewear, said, “Presenting the ASPCA with a check of this size gives us great pride. We take great pleasure in the fact that we have been so fortunate in growth to this point to be able to do so. We continue to grow across the United States which is amazing.”
