OTHER THINGS THAT BLEED MONEY

POSSIBLE REASONS

U.S. Postal Service is so rock ’n’ roll

Could it be … children? Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin are spending the summer in Hamptons homes within a few blocks of each other, The New York Post reported. Both homes are in Amagansett, N.Y. The pair remain close despite their conscious uncoupling, going to dinner and movies together. Neighbors say they often see Martin jogging in the area, or going surfing with his and Paltrow’s children, Apple and Moses. (EXPRESS)

Courtney Love lost about $27 million of “Nirvana money,” much of it to settling various lawsuits, she told a British newspaper. “I know that’s a lifetime of money to most people, but I’m a big girl, it’s rock ’n’ roll,” she told the Sunday Times, as cited by Us Weekly. “I make enough to live on, I’m financially solvent, I focus on what I make now.” She blamed her finances for past cocaine and crack use: “I had to run very fast to look after my money and I felt cocaine helped me do that. … that turned into nine months of crack.” (EXPRESS)

Ex-couple divorces without TMZ knowing

Miley Cyrus has adopted a pig, E! News reported. Bubba Sue is “the newest member to the fam,” Cyrus posted on Instagram on Sunday. The pig’s sex is unknown. Cyrus also posted a photo of herself with the tiny piglet in which its hooves are painted red, captioned “Happiest mommy ever” and taken aboard her private jet. (EXPRESS)

David Duchovny and Tea Leoni are divorced after 17 years of marriage, TMZ reported. They filed papers in June and settled the terms “completely under the radar,” TMZ wrote. Duchovny is paying $8,333 a month in child support, expenses such as camp, private school and college, for their two children. He’s also paying $40,000 per month in spousal support to Leoni. They separated in 2011. (EXPRESS)

It only costs $100 to disturb Taylor Swift Charges have been dropped against three people accused of causing a disturbance outside singer Taylor Swift’s beachside home in Rhode Island.
