Dubbed Fiji’s “original tourists”, these amazing migratory birds travel to our islands for a few months each year. World Migratory Birds Day on May 11th was dedicated to introducing the public to these migratory birds and how to preserve them. With this year’s theme Protect Birds – Be the solution to plastic pollution, NatureFiji-MareqetiViti launched a new three-year Migratory Bird Campaign and pledge to protect birds.
