There’s a free, one-night-only performance of “The Rocky Horror Show” Sept. 2 at Columbus Commons park—dress as your favorite character and be prepared to do the Time Warp again. And check out the brand-new “Full Moon,” a two-hour show chock-full of monsters, madness and mayhem, Sept. 13-Nov. 10. Shadowbox turns to the Windy City for inspiration when it performs its version of the Broadway hit “Chicago” Sept. 9-Nov. 11. And the troupe puts its own twist on the holidays Nov. 15-Dec. 29 in “Holiday Hoopla XXI,” a Central Ohio tradition. On select Sundays Nov. 25Dec. 30, Shadowbox also performs “Scrooge,” a musical retelling of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.” Shadowbox teams up with Opera Columbus for a unique production of “La Bohème.” This abridged, Englishonly adaptation of one of the most popular operas of all time takes place on Sundays Oct. 14-Nov. 18 at Shadowbox’s Backstage Bistro on South Front Street. 14

CatCO’s theatre fOr Children • “The Tales of Beatrix Potter,” Nov. 9-18. Three actors present stories of Peter Rabbit and Jemima Puddle Duck, including friendly fights and a chance for audience participation. • “The Neverending Story,” Dec. 7-9. A young boy is drawn into a book and the land of Fantastica, where he walks a fine line between reality and imagination. • “Isabella e la Bestia,” Jan. 18-27. A comedic retelling of “Beauty and the Beast.”

COlumbus Children’s theatre • “The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe,” Sept. 27-Oct. 14. Four siblings are transported to the magical world of Narnia. • “No Dogs Allowed!” Nov. 1-11. In this musical, 8-year-old Iris is determined to bring her beloved dog along on a trip to a state park, despite the park’s titular prohibition. • “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever,” Nov. 29-Dec. 23. Mayhem reigns as the awful Herdman children are cast in a holiday play. • “Snow White,” Jan. 10-27. The classic fairy tale comes to life, complete with Sleepy, Dopey and the crew. • “The Stinky Cheese Man and other Fairly Stupid Tales,” Feb. 7-24. Wacky, irreverent takes on favorite fairy tales.
