Spreading Employee Ownership While the majority of our employee owners live and work in northeast Iowa, VGM also has locations throughout the U.S. and even north of the border. WHAT IS AN
ESOP? VGM’s Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) is an employee retirement account funded entirely by gifted company contributions. When the stock value increases, so do the retirement accounts of eligible ESOP participants. Contributions/stock allocations are made on an annual basis and, each year, we celebrate our success during the Employee Owners’ Annual Update.
What does that mean for you? You, as an employee, can earn an annual gift of VGM stock equaling a portion of what you make.
It’s a gift for working hard with your fellow employee owners and making the work that we do great.
