Tooling Capabilities Experi-Metal Inc. manages “quality, budgets and delivery with complete in-house tooling capabilities.

EMI operates a self-contained zinc alloy (kirksite) foundry with a maximum pouring capacity of 60,000 lbs. per casting. Our Tool Room is equipped with a variety of conventional machines including Bridgeports, Lathes, Surface Grinders and Drill Presses - all used to produce precision tooling and products.

The Quality Control Department at Experi-Metal Inc. utilizes Brown & Sharp Xcel and Wenzel Coordinate Measuring Machines equipped with PC-DMIS software. Our maximum measuring envelope is 108” x 240” x 84”.
