Edmund House provides luxurious accommodation in a bright and spacious environment. Most importantly, every resident is recognised as an individual and as such we guarantee to provide the highest standard of person centred care to every client. Clients can enjoy the extensive use of all facilities including a purpose designed Hair Salon, Internet corner, Music and Activity rooms as well as a Dining Café for the use of clients and visitors at all times of the day.

Certain bedrooms have an external door providing access to an individual private garden and patio area, each with its own private address for postal deliveries ■

Telephone points are available in all residents rooms should they wish to have their own private line

In our Residential Suites, clients typically enjoy the kind of independence they desire whilst having the comfort of knowing 24 hour care is available to provide the help and support they may need at any time of the day.

Edmund House is a striking building which has been built to a very high specification to promote a feeling of independence and an ambience of dignity. Situated on Everest Road it runs from Grange Lane to Ashby High Street linking the route to Bottesford and Ashby.

Dementia Care We recognise the special needs of people with dementia and other memory impairments, at all levels. Our ‘Chesters’ accommodation has been specifically designed to provide such clients with surroundings that are homely, safe and stimulating. Our staff at ‘Chesters’ are specially trained to help manage the unique needs of residents suffering from varying degrees of dementia and at all times ensuring our care delivery remains person centred.

The area is a hub of activity at key times during the day but relaxed and calm at all other times. The home is a five minute walk from Ashby High Street where there are a large variety of shops, public houses, coffee shops, restaurants and a post office. Specifically there is a bus stop at the entrance of the Home which benefits from a bus service every ten minutes to Scunthorpe Town Centre via Ashby.
