Razmerja človeškega telesa in drugih medijev ostajajo tudi po desetih letih prepoznavne, samosvoje ustvarjalne poti v središču odrskega zanimanja koreografke in plesalke Snježane Premuš; med drugim nadaljuje tudi naslov aktualne predstave logiko naslovov nekaterih prejšnjih, v katerih je bilo telo dvakrat ozvočeno in enkrat utišano. Amplified Body 1 in 2 [Ozvočeno telo 1 in 2] raziskujeta razmerja realnosti telesa skozi razprte dimenzije zvoka, Silent Body [Tiho telo] na podlagi realnega, živega telesa preizprašuje različne vrste in stopnje materialnosti – naslednji korak v razvoju, ki temelji na dosedanjih raziskavah odrskega sobivanja oz. (so)vplivanja giba, zvoka in videa, uvaja različne načine multiplikacije telesa. Po eni strani to neizogibno vodi v grozo pred podobo, ker učinkovito postavlja pod vprašaj enkratnost, individualnost in neponovljivost subjekta, po drugi odpira vprašanja izgube oz. odsotnosti telesa. BACK TO BACK THEATRE: small metal objects [majhni kovinski predmeti]
Even after ten years, the relations of the human body and other media remain defining and outstanding features at the heart of stage performance of the choreographer and dancer Snježana Premuš. Among other things, the title of the show continues the logic of some of the previous titles, in which the body was twice amplified and once silenced. Amplified Body 1 and 2 explore the relations of a body’s reality through open dimensions of sound. Silent Body relies on a real and living body to examine various types and levels of materiality – the next step in a development based on researching coexistence on stage, i.e. the interactions of movement, sound and video introduces various multiplications of the body. This inevitably leads to being frightened of an image, as it effectively questions the distinctiveness, individuality and uniqueness of the subject, while it also raises questions of the loss or absence of the body. The show is a collaborative effort, a concurrent development of auditory, motor and visual material, so as to thoroughly re-examine the relationships between the body and technology, particularly at junctures where one may prevail over the other.

Iskrivi gledališki biser, small metal objects, si jemlje za oder kar Prešerca, vedno polnega pešcev. Gledalci prek naglavnih slušalk poslušajo napeto osebno dramo, ki se odvija nekje v gneči. Gay in Steve po navadi ne izstopata iz povprečja. Zdaj pa v eni noči nehote odigrata osrednjo vlogo v življenju dveh stremuških podjetnikov, s katerima imata dogovorjen posel. Z razvojem dogodkov postajata vse bolj pristna, nam pa predstava zvito in živo prikaže drobne vsakdanjosti, ki jih večinoma jemljemo za samoumevne. BACK TO BACK ustvarja nove oblike sodobnega gledališča, kot si ga zamišlja skupina igralcev invalidov, ter poudarja družbene in politične vsebine, ki zadevajo vsakogar. DUNJA ZUPANČIČ explores two complex systems in postgravitaty art: empty-body directing and the syntapiens system, and visualises their point of connection. She geometrises all conceptual information about the emptybody directing of Dragan Živadinov and about the syntapiens system by Miha Turšič with temporal layering and informas. MIHA TURŠIČ is not a designer because he wants to build his own tangible landscape, to be a part of the magnificent capital-driven production of products. No! Categorically differently :: exploiting his profound digital talent, he designs ideas about the human being and the feeling of being human in weightless environments. The series of events of the fifty years performance Noordung connects DRAGAN ŽIVADINOV with Dunja Zupančič’s system of anti-gravitational visualisation. A public, secular act, with a precisely defined form, is inevitably an operation of sense if it is informed by visual thinking. The dual of Dragan Živadinov and Dunja Zupančič becomes plural with Miha Turšič.

Siloviti fizični elektronskozvočni performans je osnovan na izkušnji zapora in mučenja. Tarek je bil namreč med libanonsko vojno julija 2006 tri dni zaprt in udarci v glavo so mu povzročili trajno poškodbo sluha v levem ušesu. Ne-bobnanje tako vzporeja na eni strani poskuse, da se preseže stanje fizične in psihične ujetosti, brezizhodnosti, na drugi brisanje meja glasbenega izraza, umetnosti prenosnikov (laptop art) in elektronske glasbe. Tarek in Uriel delujeta pod imenom ASA DJINNIA od ustanovitve dua leta 2004 v Parizu. Njuna improvizirana godba, energična mešanica bobnov in elektronike, združuje estetske in zvočne raziskave v enkraten navdihujoč nastop. Un-Drum is an intense and physical electronic sound performance. It draws upon the 3 days of arrest and torture Tarek experienced during the July 2006 war on Lebanon, during which he permanently lost partial hearing in his left ear after receiving a beating to the head. It draws parallels between attempts to break states of physical and psychological detention and siege and the collapsing of musical performance boundries, laptop art and electronic music. ASA DJINNIA is the association of Tarek Atoui and Uriel Barthelemi who founded this collective in 2004 in Paris. This duo of improvised music is a highly energetic combination of drums and electronics where both musicians merge their aesthetics and sound research in a unique impressive show.

Eux, prizorišču prilagojena predstava, postavlja gledalca/ko v prvi plan. Opremljen/a z videoočali, s sledilno napravo, z miniaturno kamero in s slušalkami se sprehaja skozi nekakšno zgodbo, saj hodi mimo mnoštva podob, ki mu/ji jih predvaja taista kamera. Pod vodstvom igralca/ke je teleportiran/a od tu in zdaj v ne tu in ne zdaj; tu, a ne zdaj; zdaj, a ne tu. Doživetje resničnega in navideznega v gledališkem prostoru traja 1 uro in 15 minut. Vsakih 40 minut ga lahko preizkusi drug/a gledalec/ka. CREW je flamska umetniška skupina pod vodstvom Erica Jorisa, ki deluje na meji med umetnostjo in znanostjo, med performativnimi umetnostmi in novimi tehnologijami. Raziskovalci z različnih univerz vidijo to eksperimentalno gledališče kot laboratorij, v katerem lahko preizkušajo napredek lastnega dela, zato razvijajo izvirne tehnologije, ki jih Crew uporabi v performansih. Stalen dialog z razvijalci robotike in računalniških ved spodbuja domiseln gledališki pogled na oblikovanje in predstavo, besedilo in zvok. Eux is a site specific immersion work in which the spectator becomes the centre of the performance. Equpped with videogoggles, an orientation tracker, a miniature camera and soround sound headphones he/she moves and walks through a kind of story by walking trough a constellation of images that they are streams from the head-mounted cameras. Under the guidance of the actor he/she is teleported from the here and now to the neither here nor now to the here but not now and to the now but not here. The experience of real and the virtual in theatre lasts 1h 15’. Every 40 minutes a new person can start. CREW is the Flemish company of artist Eric Joris that operates on the border between art and science, between performing arts and new technology. Finding in experimental theatre a laboratory where they can test the progress of their own work, researchers from different universities develop original technologies for Crew to use in the performances. Permanent dialogue with the developments in robotics and computer sciences triggers the theatrical imagination of design and production, text and sound.

Churchill Ballettikka Internettikka je niz taktičnih umetniških projektov, ki raziskujejo brezžični medmrežni balet, kombiniran z gverilskimi taktikami in mobilnimi medmrežnimi prenosi v živo. V obdobju 2001–9 je bilo izvedenih devetnajst nizkotehnoloških performansov Ballettikka Internettikka kot neposrednih gverilskih baletnih akcij. Avtorja vdirata v različne prostore in lokacije ter izvajata internetne koreografije, temelječe na računalniških jezikih ter poleg svojih, baletno nesposobnih teles manipulirata plesno omejene in politično tesnobne daljinsko vodene robote z vohunskimi kamerami, ki plešejo medmrežni balet. V povezavi baleta in digitalnih komunikacij iščeta prostor najmanjšega možnega gibanja, in prevajata telo v računalniško kodo. Projekt načrtno prevzema gverilske taktike boja in jih umešča v dolgočasne kontekste, v katerih potekajo izpraznjeni procesi brez razloga, ki vzpostavljajo strategije dialoga umetnosti s kapitalom ter z anarhističnim potrošništvom sodobne družbe. broadcasting strategies. From 2001 to 2009 nineteen different Ballettikka Internettikka actions were performed. Ballettikka Internettikka uses impossible connections to develop the possible strategies of resistance and disobedience. The project participates in the already existing protocols of communication, yet without being servile to these protocols, it opens up links between emotionality and technology, production and ethics, desire and organization, imagination and institution. The distribution of politics and intimacy without any reason and purpose, with the use of limited, defined, and controlled protocols is a dystopia and an unsubmissive revolt to the world of capital, which can be disarmed only by the use of its own tactics.

Shielov rokopis, predrugačen s posebnimi učinki in filmskimi tehnikami, ki segajo daleč nazaj, k rojstvu kinematografije, je uporabljen za kritično prevpraševanje sodobne kulturne krajine in okoljske problematike. V Rožnatem oblaku (1901) se ambiciozni pustolovec odpravi osvajat Severni tečaj. Med njegovo osamo ogrozi Zemljo in življenje na njej strupen rožnati oblak ... Spanje iz izvirnika izlušči krizo sodobnega preživetja. Shielovo zgodbo vzporeja z aktualnimi dejstvi o podnebnih spremembah, informacije, nakopičene v digitalizirani družbi, pa zavrže, da bi raziskal vsiljen primitivizem in bivanjsko krizo. Spanje je ena od predstav projekta Filmska turbolenca, ki združujejo člane skupine Big Art Group, glasbenike v živo ter pozabljena ali malo znana literarna dela. Značilnost BIG ART GROUP sta svojstvena uporaba govorice medijev in mešanica odrskih žanrov. Rezultat so vedno nova, izzivalna dela, ki s svojo nekompromisnostjo, aktualnostjo in izvirnostjo pomembno prispevajo h kulturni raznolikosti in k odrski umetnosti. The Sleep reconfigures Shiel’s manuscript with the special effects and film techniques used during the birth of cinema at the turn of the century to critique the contemporary cultural landscape and environmental issues. In MP Shiel’s genre classic written in 1901, an ambitious adventurer sets off to the undiscovered North Pole. Meanwhille a poisonous purple cloud covers the earth and annihilates all human and animal life… From the of the original manuscript, The Sleep extrapolates the crisis of contemporary survival, merging Shiel’s story with current accounts of climate change, and jettisoning the information accumulation of a digital society to investigate a forced primitivism and a crisis of being. The Sleep is a part of project called Cinema Fury
encompassing a series of shows constructed from collaborations between members of Big Art Group, live musicians and forgotten or little know literature with the aim to create new works of Image Performance. BIG ART GROUP uses the language of media and blended states of performance in a unique form to build culturally transgressive and challenging new works with the aim of contributing an uncompromising, relevant, and original body of work to the performance stage.

Za 15. festival Exodos sva bila povabljena, da pripraviva projekt na temo intervencije v medijski oglasni prostor oz. video, ki se bo prikazoval na displejih na javnih in zasebnih površinah. Delo obdeluje vidike popularizacije umetniškega poklica v množičnih vizualnih medijih, kjer se sicer pojavljajo oglasne vsebine. Video je narejen kot agit-prop akcija za rekrutiranje bodočih umetnikov, da vstopijo v polje profesionalne umetniške kariere, da s svojo ustvarjalnostjo prispevajo skupnosti ali pa le realizirajo svoj lastni ego. For 15th Exodos we were invited to prepare a project dealing with intervention in the arena of media advertising; i.e. a video to be shown on displays mounted on public and private property. The video examines various aspects of the popularisation of the artistic profession in mass visual media which function as advertising platforms. It has been conceived as an agitprop campaign to recruit future artists who are to start a professional artistic career and use their creativity either to aid their communities, or merely to boost their egos. on.dis. play BECOME AN ARTIST YOURSELF. elevates the artistic profession to the pedestal of community service.
