Alice Quaresma experimenta con materiales que le permiten explorar la dimensión lúdica y sensorial del arte, cuestionando los límites de la fotografía como una superficie plana. Recurre a imágenes de su archivo personal para investigar sobre la idea de desplazamiento e identidad. Su trabajo ha sido expuesto en eventos como Aperture Foundation Summer Open (2019), Houston Center for Photography Annual Exhibition (2019), Caixa Cultural São Paulo Open Call (2018), Foam Talent Prize (2014) y PS122 Exhibition Prize (2009). Alice Quaresma has been experimenting with materials that allow her photographs to be sensorial and playful, pushing the boundaries of photography as a flat surface. She uses images from her personal photo archive to elaborate on the idea of displacement and identity. Her work has been exhibited in the Aperture Foundation Summer Open (2019), Houston Center for Photography Annual Exhibition (2019), Caixa Cultural São Paulo Open Call (2018), Foam Talent Prize (2014) and PS122 Exhibition Prize (2009).
