NDA Syllabus 2013 NDA Syllabus 2013 The joint services academy of Indian armed forces is named as National Defence Academy abbreviated as NDA where the candidates have to serve the country in three services Army, Navy and Air force. A written examination is conducted by the UPSE to get select in National Defence Academy followed by extensive interview process. The formal establishment of National Defence Academy commissioned on the date December 7, 1954 and the ceremony held on the date January 16, 1955. NDA provides only a full time residential undergraduate program and awarded a degree (A Bachelor of Arts or A Bachelor of Science) after the completion of three years of study. The candidates have two alternates to study with – Science stream offers the cadets to study the subjects Physics, Chemistry, mathematics and Computer Science while the Humanities stream offers studies in the subjects Economics, Political Science and Geography. National Defence Academy (NDA) is the entrance exam for those who want to serve the Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force. To prepare for this exam they need NDA Syllabus. This exam consist questions from two subjects Maths and General Ability Test, so this is the Syllabus for NDA. Details of the syllabus can be obtained from the given link. In NDA Syllabus, Mathematics exam is of 300 marks and General Ability Exam is of 600 marks. Time limit for both the subjects is same i.e. 150 minutes. Both the exams will be conducted in the same day. General Ability Test paper that is included in National Defence Academy Syllabus has two parts, Part A and Part B. In part A 200 marks questions of English subject is being asked and in Part B 400 marks questions of General Knowledge has been asked. This Part B of NDA Syllabus contains 6 sections in, each from Physics, Chemistry, General Knowledge, History, Freedom Movements, Geography and Current Events. To apply for this you just have to go through the concerned advertisement given in the employment newspaper. Candidate can fill the application form online, than they should choose their centers carefully. In India, 40 centers are allocated for it. The eligibility for this is that student must have passes class XII from any recognized Institutions. For NDA written test only unmarried candidates can apply. On the date of NDA exam, the candidate's age must ranges between 16.5 to 19 years. The candidate must have the Indian citizenship, or candidate can a Tibetan or Nepal or Bhutan refugee.
