What we do Planned Preventative Maintenance Jones Engineering Services offer mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and fire protection planned preventative maintenance (PPM). A number of pre-scheduled visits are carried out every year to ensure all items of equipment are operating efficiently to avoid any unnecessary breakdowns or downtime for our clients.

Asset Management We optimise our clients’ operating efficiencies through management of their assets in relation to maintenance inspection, renewal and day-to-day operations. As part of our asset management consultancy service we conduct: • Plant criticality assessments • Maintenance strategy developments • Condition-based monitoring programs • Root cause failure analysis • Reliability centred maintenance • Asset register control


Shutdown/Turnaround We facilitate our clients’ maintenance, inspection and project work, and carefully plan it’s execution around their production requirements. We manage shutdowns and overhauls on time, safely and within budget. Our scope of shutdown works vary in complexity, from simple inspection to integrated asset overhauls. On occasions we act as principal contractor for many of our clients where we manage their complete engineering requirements including mechanical, electrical, civil, structural as a one stop shop.

Troubleshooting We provide a systematic approach to troubleshooting and fault finding. We utilise the various diagnostic tools including continuous improvement, root cause analysis and 5 whys. We have a very experienced workforce with specialist capabilities in mechanical, electrical, fire protection, instrumentation services and asset care disciplines.

How we do it Jones Engineering Services use the latest in field management software which intelligently manages and co-ordinates work, delivering full integration and online access to our clients. This ensures that each request is logged and directed to the appropriately skilled service engineer. We recognise the importance of visibility to our clients and can provide them with bespoke KPI’s and secure on-line access to their maintenance and call-out records. Using a Jones Engineering Services mobile operating solution allows our 04

engineers to deliver a superior quality service to all of our clients in terms of: • Efficiency of performance • Quality of service Alternatively, we can interface our system with our clients system, or utilise a clients existing computerised maintenance management system (CMMS). We offer a permanently manned 24/7/365 helpdesk, so help is on hand at anytime of the day or night. In conjunction with IEI and CIBSE our engineers are trained in the latest programmes, standards and techniques.

Maintenance
