BODY

Mental contents are those items which are thought of as being "in" the mind, and capable of being formed and manipulated by mental processes and faculties. Examples include thoughts, concepts, memories, emotions, percepts and intentions.

With regard to living things, a body is the physical body of an individual. "Body" often is used in connection with appearance, health issues and death. It can be simply described as the most complicated machine.

SOUL In certain spiritual, philosophical, and psychological traditions, the soul is the essence of a person, living thing or object. The terms 'soul' and 'spirit' are sometimes used interchangeably; soul denotes a more worldly and less transcendent aspect of a person.

Feeling the Burn! As we all know, stress is at the root of many health problems. Stress and anxiety can cause a type of exhaustion known as 'burnout', which is more than just tiredness. People who suffer this have used up all their adrenal energy leaving them prone to depression and the onset of other diseases. It's important to handle stress before it gets too much. The aim of EVE Wellbeing is to encourage relaxation wherever possible; a holiday is often seen as the ultimate way to relax, but often we do not have the time or

finances to be able to jet off to the other side of the world for a bit of rest in the sunshine. With hectic lifestyles, families and pressures at work, we don't give ourselves a chance to recharge. Make sure to take a little time for yourself; often when we're working hard, we're tensed and tightened up and not breathing properly. An instant way to relax is to take a few deep breaths which will help you slow down and allow much needed oxygen into your system.

We need to discover what makes us happy, it may be a massage, a beauty treatment, exercise and fitness, meditation or hobbies. Try to give yourself at least a couple of hours each week to do something just for you. You will find lots of ways to rest and recharge within the pages of this publication.
