Although the BORN range only recently saw the light of day, the family has already five new members. From now on the BORN Dark products will be accompanied by a wholegrain and a white version. Each BORN product is rich in fibre and based on the typical BORN cereal mix, even the white boulot! What then would be the difference between the current BORN products and the new wholegrain version?

The darkest BORN loaves contain roasted malt and extra grain, which give the bread its typical dark colour. BORN WHOLEGRAIN The syllable ‘whole’ in ‘wholegrain’ refers to the complete corn grain. For regular brown or wheat bread part of the wheat germs and the bran are sifted out of the wholegrain flour to obtain pure flour. For wholegrain flour all parts of the grain are retained. Meaning also the germ and the bran that form the outer layer of the corn grain. Precisely that layer contains the most valuable

We serve filled rolls, sandwiches and a daily fresh soup. The menu is limited but is changed often. I love finding innovative alternatives to the ubiquitous sandwich filler classics. We always aim for seasonal, healthy and crispy fresh quality products. Authenticity and light are ace, even in our interior. We do not like repetitive - but at the request of our customers, some house specials return to the board frequently, such as our roll with home-made hummus.

Our butcher shop and deli made a radical choice for a contemporary approach. The way people eat meat has changed. An increasing number of people choose to have a day without meat every now and then. Healthy weight loss is often a matter of eating different things, rather than eating less. Balanced and tasty food in combination with more exercise is what we want to convey to our customers. For extra inspiration, we recently expanded our range with “Nat Ta Ligne”, a diet-friendly range of fresh preparations. Our customers can rely on us for a fully balanced weekly menu based on our day-fresh, seasonal preparations. The choice of fibre rich bread in our bread preparation seems a logical next step in our healthy House of Flavour philosophy.
