The Dockside Cafe is owned and managed by Hayley and Mark, who reopened the café in October to give local residents, visitors and workers at Falmouth Docks a little something special. Part of the Caffe Nova group (sister cafes can be found at Argal and Stithians lakes), it has reopened with a difference, as demonstrated by the refurbishment, extended covers and both bench and booth seating. The Docks and the local area was missing a friendly local cafe that served hot fresh quality food at affordable prices and whilst there are plenty of chain restaurants around, Hayley and Mark wanted to give people something different. If people want a cooked breakfast, buttermilk pancakes, a BIG breakfast bun and various sandwiches, they can provide it here, either to eat in or take away and they promise to do it with a friendly smile and a chat. If chilling out is your thing, wash down Hayley’s cakes with a cup of quality Italian Espresso, tea or Cornish fruit presse and you can do all this whilst catching up with Facebook or Twitter by logging in to the free WiFi connection.
