“At Everett Community College, I received maximum assistance from the faculty in my pathway to reach my goal. From proofreading my essays to writing me recommendation letters, instructors here are great and helpful. Moreover, I received encouragement and support from the people in the International Education Office, especially the Director for International Education. He is very friendly and he gives me enormous support. With such comprehensive backup, I finally succeeded and got admitted to the University of Michigan.â€? “When I first came to the United States and EvCC one year ago, I was very worried --- Can I get involved in a totally different culture? Can I get help when I have questions? Can I get good grades although English is not my first language? After one year, I get my answer --- Yes, I can. Everybody in EvCC is very friendly and warmhearted, they are happy to help me as long as I ask. I don’t feel lonely although I am a foreigner here. I developed a lot since I have been here --- I do well in my classes, I work at International Education Office and I do volunteer work.” Wang Xuejiao - China Business Administration Major Central Washington University #52 Regional Ranking U.S. News and World Report

“With uncertainties on choosing classes and transferring, my academic adviser and instructors were a great help to me. Academic advisers were helping to clear uncertainties on transferring to universities as they are more familiar with the process. Our instructors were more familiar with my learning performance, to tailor-make the most suitable class schedule for me to be prepared to transfer to the University.” Luk Yan Yee “Lillian” - Hong Kong Environmental Science Major Central Washington University #52 Regional Ranking U.S. News and World Report

“Working for Boeing has always been my dream, so I tried to look for the best school closest to this facility. I believe my degree at Everett Community College in Aviation Maintenance and Aviation Science will bring me closer to my dream. Being able to work for the International Education Department is such an honor, and has taught me how to communicate. The teachers work hard to sharpen my potential. Together with the students, I am learning how to express myself.” Yulius Liem - Indonesia Aviation Maintenance Major
