L’Agence wallonne à l’Exportation et aux Investissements étrangers (AWEX) est en charge du développement et de la gestion des relations économiques internationales de la Wallonie.

Au titre du commerce extérieur, l'Agence assure une mission de promotion et d'information tant à l'égard des milieux d'affaires internationaux que wallons.

A destination des acheteurs, prescripteurs, importateurs et prospects étrangers, l'Agence peut sur demande: • transmettre des données économiques sur la Wallonie et sur son potentiel exportateur; • communiquer des informations sur les produits et les services des entreprises wallonnes; • rechercher des sociétés wallonnes pour la conclusion de partenariats internationaux; • diffuser des listes d'exportateurs wallons.

Elle assure également un suivi actif des investisseurs installés en Wallonie ainsi qu'une mission de recherche de repreneurs étrangers pour les sites industriels wallons en voie de restructuration.

L’AWEX est également compétente pour le renforcement de l’image de marque de la Wallonie à l’international.

L’AWEX dispose d’un effectif de plus de 400 personnes et d’une centaine de bureaux à l’étranger.

AWEX, partner of the international economic development of Wallonia.

The Wallonia Export-Investment Agency (AWEX) is in charge of the development and management of Wallonia's international economic relations.

With regards to foreign trade, the Agency has a promotion and information mission with regard to both the international and Walloon business community.

It extended its activities in the field of metallic part manufacturing (cutting and stamping). COMPANY BACKGROUND Since 2011, the Belgian company Sunoptimo manufacture large scale solar thermal systems (mainly for industries and collective housings). In 2015, it launches a new product: the Opticube. This all-in-one solar thermal container kit must remove the barriers to solar thermal and boost the development of this technology all around the world.
