Tulip Serenade

Amsterdam – Ghent – Amsterdam DAY 1 | NETHERLANDS: AMSTERDAM This afternoon, embark and get settled in your cabin. This evening, enjoy a Welcome Cocktail, followed by a specially-prepared Welcome Dinner.

WAT E R WAY S O F H O L L A N D A N D B E L G I U M

DAY 2 | AMSTERDAM · HOORN After a restful night on board, set off to see the sights of one of the most unique cities in Europe. Beautiful bridges connect the numerous parts of the city divided by hundreds of canals and waterways, overlooked by 17th century architecture. Be sure to stop by the Oude Kerk (Old Church), the oldest building in the city. In a nearby village, visit a cheese farm to learn about Dutch cheese production. This evening, enjoy a delicious dinner as we continue to explore the Netherlands. DAY 3 | ARNHEM Experience the wonderful landscape along the river before arriving in Arnhem for lunch. This afternoon, explore the city of Arnhem, a small metropolis that was greatly affected by WWII. The Open-Air museum recounts daily life in Arnhem or visit the former Second World War battlefield and the Airborne Museum “Hartenstein”. You can also visit the Burgers’ Zoo, the most-visited zoo in the Netherlands. Back on board, enjoy dinner as we cruise to the Capital of Zeeland. DAY 4 | MIDDELBURG After a morning spent cruising the waterways, 22

A unique urban landscape: Amsterdam’s Canal Ring

we arrive in the picturesque town of Middelburg. In the Golden Age (17th c), the Dutch East India Company flourished, evidenced by the merchant houses and storefronts that line the canals. For a feat of modern technology, visit the impressive Delta Works. This expansive series of dams was built to protect the area against flooding and high tides. Several original windmills still stand on the outskirts of town, representing another innovative technology of a byegone era.

for its diamond trade, Antwerp is also home to numerous cultural jewels. Among them, the Cathedral of Our Lady with paintings by the famous Baroque artist Peter Paul Rubens, including the Raising of the Cross and the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, is not to be missed. Spend the afternoon in Antwerp following individual pursuits or venture to the nearby capital city of Brussels, a major center for international politics. In the evening, enjoy the Captain’s Gala Dinner.

DAY 5 | BELGIUM: GHENT Overnight, cross the border into Belgium and reach the city of Ghent where your vessel will remain anchored for the day. Ghent is the country’s third largest city and one of Belgium’s best kept secrets. Home to the beautiful St. Bavo Cathedral and the famous Ghent Altarpiece, Ghent also is home to numerous other museums. There is something for everyone. Another beautiful city worth visiting is nearby Bruges, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the Basilica of the Holy Blood which houses a relic – a vial of blood – that is said to be that of Jesus. Another worthwhile stop is the Groeninge Museum with its collection of artwork that spans several centuries. This evening, join your fellow travelers for dinner.

DAY 7 | NETHERLANDS: KINDERDIJK · UTRECHT · AMSTERDAM On today’s return to the Netherlands, the historic windmills of Kinderdijk are a good example of the rich history of the Netherlands. At midday, the vessel heads for Utrecht and the grand finale, the Keukenhof Flower Gardens. This beautiful park features more tulips in flower than anywhere else in the world. Over 7 million bulbs are planted here annually, with visitors from around the world coming to explore the 9-and-a-half-mile network of footpaths, including the largest sculpture park in the Netherlands. Should you choose to join the expedition to the flower gardens, you will rejoin the vessel in Amsterdam, where it remains overnight.

DAY 6 | ANTWERP Wake up in this beautiful Belgian city where there is plenty to discover. Although famous

DAY 8 | AMSTERDAM After breakfast, we bid you farewell. We hope to welcome you back again soon!

Amsterdam – Basel

Sunset over the Rhine city of Cologne, with a view over the Cathedral and the Hohenzollern Bridge

(Program Basel – Amsterdam on request) DAY 1 | NETHERLANDS: AMSTERDAM This afternoon, embark and get settled in your cabin. This evening, enjoy a Welcome Cocktail, followed by a specially-prepared Welcome Dinner. DAY 2 | AMSTERDAM · HOORN Begin your day with a relaxing cruise through a myriad of landscapes along the Rhine river. For more active pursuits, spend the morning exploring the canal city of Amsterdam and the surrounding countryside, rejoing the vessel in the town of Hoorn. This evening, join your fellow travelers for dinner.

RHINE · MOSELLE

DAY 3 | GERMANY: COLOGNE After lunch, enjoy our arrival into the beautiful city of Cologne. Every year visitors from all over the world are drawn to the historical city and its 2000-year history. Explore the historic Old Town, visit the famous twin-spired Cologne Cathedral, or perhaps sample some of the famous Kölsch beer brewed in Cologne. There are many medieval houses, bridges, and gates that will delight the historian in you, while the more modern skyscrapers that tower overhead are sure to impress. After an exciting day, we return to the vessel and make our way south. DAY 4 | COCHEM Today our AMADEUS vessel takes a special trip down the romantic Moselle river, the largest 26

tributary of the Rhine, and anchors at the old town of Cochem. The scenery in the Moselle Valley has been dominated by vineyards for millennia. Cochem itself has narrow streets, twisting alleys and medieval town gates, churches and walls. Discover the beauty of Cochem and perhaps sample some of the Riesling wines produced in this region. This evening we set off towards Koblenz. DAY 5 | KOBLENZ · RÜDESHEIM This morning, arrive in Koblenz, ideally situated at the confluence of the Rhine and the Moselle rivers. The Romans, the Franks, the Holy Roman Empire, the French, and the Germans have all had a hand in this strategic city’s 2000 year history. St. Castor Basilica, the Church of our Beloved Lady, and the Emperor Kaiser Wilhelm’s memorial at the German Corner are just a few few of the sites which reflect the history of the area. This afternoon, spend time on deck as we cruise the most beautiful section of the river – the legendary Upper Middle Rhine Valley. Late this afternoon, the vessel arrives in Rüdesheim, a winemaking town in the Rhine Gorge. Discover the region's rich history of winemaking, perhaps by visiting the local museum – a great place to start! Back on board your crew awaits with a delicious dinner. DAY 6 | MANNHEIM · SPEYER After breakfast, explore the bustling metropolis of Mannheim. This unique city has many sights to see including the University of Mannheim,

the National Theater of Mannheim, and St. Sebastian’s Church. It is also home to Luisenpark, one of the most beautiful parks in all of Germany. Heidelberg, which is nearby, is another old university city which is also worth a visit. This afternoon’s call is at Speyer, a city known for its Cathedral where eight Roman emperors and German kings are interred. The Old Town Gate, Memorial Church, and Transportation Museum are all highlights of this beautiful city. Tonight, enjoy the Captain’s Gala Dinner after your exciting day. DAY 7 | FRANCE: STRASBOURG This morning we arrive in the dynamic capital of Alsace. This beautiful city’s sights include the famous cathedral Straßburger Münster and the Petite France quarter, a former mill and tanner district that still maintains its medieval charm. Half-timbered houses, the Ponts Couverts, the Palais de Rohan and the Council of Europe are among the wonders that Strasbourg holds in store for you. The Grand Island, the city center, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is connected to the rest of the city by 22 stone bridges. After lunch on board, take in the views of the romantic Rhine as we move towards Switzerland, our final destination. DAY 8 | SWITZERLAND: BASEL After breakfast we bid you farewell. We hope to welcome you again soon!

Paris, Normandy and the River Seine Paris – Le Havre – Paris 8-day cruise from €

999 per person

This week-long cruise aboard the AMADEUS Diamond, which starts and ends in Paris, combines what is probably the most romantic city in the world with a fascinating journey into the past of the Impressionist masters. Follow the footsteps of van Gogh, Cezanne and Gauguin on this tour along the winding Seine River into Normandy (without doubt one of the most beautiful regions of France), up to Le Havre on the rugged Atlantic coast. Normandy is also an important part of European history due to events that took place there during the Second World War. Visits to idyllic Normandy villages, the “museum town” of Rouen and the picturesque harbour town of Honfleur are only some of the wonders to be

RHÔNE · SAÔNE

DAY 2 | MÂCON This morning the vessel arrives in the town of Mâcon, located in southern Burgundy. This wine-producing region produces some of the most expensive wines in the world. Spend the morning exploring the city, and perhaps visit the wine museum, dedicated to the history and production of Burgundy wines. Near the city of Mâcon is the Cluny Abbey, dedicated to St. Peter. This afternoon offers the opportunity to visit the ‘spiritual heart of medieval Europe’. Founded in 910 by Guillaume d’Aquitaine, the abbey is comprised of three abbey churches. At its height, it was home to over 10,000 monks.

72

DAY 3 | CHALON-SUR-SAÔNE · TOURNUS Continue to explore the wine region with a stop in the town of Chalon sur Saône. Halftimbered houses overlook the square, and it offers art galleries, specialty shops as well as a museum dedicated to photography. The countryside is filled with famous vineyards

This afternoon enjoy the scenery as the vessel continues its way along the Saône, or perhaps choose to explore the medieval towns of Brancion and Cormatin and rejoin the vessel in Tournus. DAY 4 | LYON At the confluence of the Rhone and the Saône rivers, sits the third-largest city in France. This UNESCO World Heritage city is known for its cuisine as well as historical and architectural landmarks such as the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourviere and the Vieux Lyon (Old Lyon) which is the Renaissance area along the bank of the Saône. Relax this afternoon as the vessel sails through the picturesque countryside. DAY 5 | AVIGNON The Provencal city of Avignon is home to the Papal Palace, once the seat of Western Christianity in the 14th century. IMPORTANT INFORMATION AIR CONDITIONING: Please note that the air conditioning in your cabin is only guaranteed to be effective if you keep the doors and windows closed. The air conditioning can be regulated individually in each cabin. ANNOUNCEMENTS: A public address system enables our Cruise Directors to provide you with important information about places we are passing, our programs on board and our excursions ashore. You can hear these announcements on the Sun deck, in your cabin, and in all the public areas of the vessel. CHANGING MONEY: During your cruise, you can change money into the relevant currency at all of the ports outside the EU. Bureaux de change can generally be found close to where the vessel docks. CLOTHING: In the daytime and during shore excursions, we recommend wearing casual clothing and comfortable footwear. A jacket or pullover may be required during the evening. For dinner and for special occasions we recommend dressing smartly. CRUISE DIRECTOR’S TEAM: The Cruise Director’s team will look after you throughout the cruise and will always be happy to give you any additional information you require. CRUISE ITINERARIES: You will have been informed about the planned itinerary before your cruise, but this information is understood to be subject to change. Changes may be made at short notice due to force majeure, high or low river levels, maintenance work or waiting times at locks and bridges owing to traffic congestion. We will make prompt announcements on board to keep you informed of any important implications of such changes. DAILY SCHEDULE: A Daily Program is produced every day and placed in your cabin on the previous evening. It contains important information such as meal times, departure times for excursions and other events, and shows the timetable for all services provided by the crew. DECKCHAIRS: There are plenty of deckchairs on the Sun deck which are available free of charge. DINING TIMES: At dining times there is one sitting, i.e. all passengers dine together. Times will be advised in the Daily Program and your seating will be arranged by the Maitre D’. DRINKING: The water on board is of drinking water quality. However, since it is stored in tanks and is not fresh running water, we recommend that you order mineral water in the bar or restaurant. ELECTRICITY: 220V alternating current, 50 Hertz. Use of 110V devices will require a 2-pin adapter. EMBARKATION / DISEMBARKATION: Your travel agent can advise you of embarkation and disembarkation addresses. Please pay attention to any announcements from the Cruise Director during disembarkation. Owing to the large number of ships using the ports, it may be that several ships have to moor side by side, restricting the view from the cabins. Lüftner Cruises has no control over this.

96

ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAM: Please see the Daily Program for the scheduled daily entertainment. EXCURSION PROGRAM: There must be a minimum of 20 participants per language for excursions to operate and 25 people in the case of land programs. You will receive a description of the shore excursions with your travel documentation. The Cruise Director’s team will be happy to help if you require any further information while on board. The on-board team will also keep you informed about possible excursions, and can give you additional advice. A detailed description of the shore excursions can be provided in a separate brochure. Information available on request. FITNESS: A fitness room is open 24 hours a day on every AMADEUS vessel. GRATUITIES: In accordance with international custom, it is usual to leave a gratuity for the staff. The amount is, of course, up to you and should serve as recognition for good service. As a guideline, we would suggest 5 – 7 Euros per guest per day. HAIRDRESSER: There is a ladies/gents hairdressing salon onboard. If you require the hairdresser’s services, please make an appointment on board. INSURANCE: Please check with your travel agent or insurance company in good time before your cruise about recommended insurance policies. INTERNET/E-MAIL: E-mail and internet stations are available on all AMADEUS vessels. A wireless network (WiFi) is also available on board for your use. You can obtain further details on board or from your travel agent in advance. LAUNDRY: The onboard laundry will wash and iron your personal clothing for a small charge. Please contact Reception. There are no dry cleaning facilities on board. LIBRARY: There is a selection of light reading material available for your use on board. Whenever possible, daily newspapers are also made available. At the end of the cruise we ask you kindly to return any books or magazines you have borrowed. LIFTS: AMADEUS Provence, AMADEUS Silver III, AMADEUS Silver II, AMADEUS Silver, AMADEUS Brilliant, AMADEUS Elegant, AMADEUS Diamond, AMADEUS Royal and AMADEUS Symphony all have lifts running between Haydn and Mozart decks. The lifts do not service the Sun deck.

The following means of payment are accepted for paying for land-based excursions and settling your onboard account: cash in EUR, CHF, GBP, NOK and USD, credit cards such as American Express, Visa Card, MasterCard and Diners Club. ONBOARD SHOP: This shop offers exclusive items under the AMADEUS name, plus souvenirs, postcards and stamps, accessories and some everyday essentials. Enquire about the shop’s opening hours at Reception. PETS: Pets are not permitted on board. POST: You can hand in post at the Reception desk. It will be posted at the next port at which the vessel stops. SAFE: You may leave your valuables, cash and traveller’s cheques in your cabin safe or deposit them at Reception to be held in the vessel’s safe. SERVICES NOT INCLUDED: Excursions, gratuities, insurance and other personal expenditure. SMOKING: For safety reasons, smoking is not permitted anywhere inside any AMADEUS vessel. We ask our passengers who smoke to be considerate to those who do not. Smoking is therefore only permitted on the Sun deck. SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS: Please inform your travel agent about any special requirements before your cruise begins and contact the Restaurant Manager when on board. We reserve the right to decline certain dietary requests whilst others may incur an additional charge. TELEPHONE: AMADEUS vessels have a GSM system and direct-dial telephones in all cabins. Outgoing calls are charged to your account. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: Before joining your cruise, please check with your travel agent or the relevant embassy about the current entry requirements for the countries in question. In order to ensure smooth passage between customs areas, passports are handed to Reception on embarkation, where they are kept in safe custody. TV CHANNELS: TV is received by satellite. When in locks and on certain stretches of the river, there may be slight interference/interruptions to the service. YOUR ONBOARD SPENDING: The onboard accounting system records all your personal expenditure in the bar, restaurant, onboard shop, etc. At the end of the cruise, passengers are presented with their bills for settlement.

MEDICATION: If you require any special medication, please ensure that you have an adequate supply before joining the cruise. The onboard pharmacy is equipped for emergencies; a small sum to cover costs is charged for medication. Please let us know if you require any special medical attention. ONBOARD CURRENCY: The currency used on board is the Euro. You can settle your account on board in cash, with Maestro debit card or any of the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Diners Club.

Please note: All information in this brochure have the status as per August 2016. Cruise program, excursions, tour dates and prices are subjects to change.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PREAMBLE: These travel conditions are issued in the name of the tour operator, Dr. W. Lüftner Reisen GmbH / A-6020 Innsbruck, for the travel programmes included in this brochure. Dr. W. Lüftner Reisen GmbH does business under the trade names Lüftner Cruises and Amadeus Cruises, and both names apply even if only the former – Lüftner Cruises – is given in any particular case. The travel conditions contained in this brochure are not an offer or a contract. The transportation of passengers and baggage on a vessel of the Amadeus fleet is governed solely by the Terms and Conditions of the Passenger Ticket Contract (available on request). PAYMENT POLICY: A deposit of 10 % per person is required to secure a confirmed reservation. When more than one cruise is booked, deposit and payment policies apply per cruise. The balance is due for payment not later than 20 days before the journey begins. No further request for payment will be made. All reservations are subject to cancellation if payments are not received by the due date. Upon full payment by the participant(s) of the amount specified in the invoice, Lüftner Cruises agrees to arrange for the provision of the services as described in this brochure and as modified by supplementary materials. Your full payment or acceptance of a ticket constitutes agreement to the terms and conditions of the Passenger Ticket Contract. PAYMENTS: Accepted are most credit cards (mainly Visa, Master Card). CANCELLATION POLICY: In cases of cancellation the tour operator has the right to demand the following cancellation charges, calculated either as a flat-rate amount or as a percentage of the travel price and dependent on the number of days left until the planned departure date: DAYS BEFORE DEPARTURE: 121 days and more 10% 120 – 90 days 15% 89 – 60 days 35% 59 – 30 days 50% 29 – 15 days 80% 14 – 1 day(s) 85% on departure day 90% Cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellation invoices are due for payment as soon as they are received. WITHDRAWAL AND TERMINATION BY THE TOUR OPERATOR: The tour operator may withdraw from the travel contract before the journey starts or terminate it after the journey has begun in the following cases: a) Without notice, if the person travelling persistently – in defiance of any warning – disrupts the execution of the travel or if his/her behaviour is not in accordance with the contract to such an extent that immediate revocation of the contract is justified. If the tour operator is the terminating party then it reserves its claim on the travel price but must allow to be set off against that the value of the expenditure saved and whatever advantages it obtains from any alternative use of the services or facilities that are not taken up, including whatever amounts are credited to it by its service providers. b)If, by two weeks prior to the start of the journey, the advertised minimum number of participants has not been reached, which is 80 passengers per cruise and, in the case of land programs, 25 persons or whatever other minimum number of participants has been indicated in the advertising for the service concerned. In all cases the tour operator is obliged to inform the traveler immediately of the occurrence of the contingency causing the journey not to be executed and immediately to forward to him/her its withdrawal statement. The travel price paid will be reimbursed promptly. c) If, by four weeks prior to the start of the journey – with the tour operator having exhausted all other opportunities – it would be unreasonable for the tour operator to execute the journey because the costs arising, if it were to be executed, would mean the tour operator exceeding the bounds of sacrifice in relation to that journey; that is, unless the tour operator itself is answerable for the main reasons leading to the situation concerned. The travel price paid will be reimbursed promptly. GUARANTEE, REDRESS AND DUTIES TO CO-OPERATE: If travel services are not provided as contracted then the traveler may demand redress. Irrespective of the tour operator’s overriding duty to

98

provide service the traveler has a duty to co-operate in that he/she must do whatever he/she can reasonably do to contribute to remedying the disruption and to keep any losses that may arise as low as possible or avoid them completely. He/she has a particular duty to advise the tour operator’s representative immediately of any possible complaints. ACTS OF GOD, STRIKE, OR OTHER CONDITIONS BEYOND CONTROL: a) Before the journey starts: if execution of the journey is made more difficult, jeopardised or impaired as a result of extraordinary circumstances that were unforeseeable at the time of entering into the contract and for which the tour operator is not answerable, then both the tour operator and the traveler may withdraw from the contract prior to the start of the journey. Such circumstances include war, strikes, civil unrest, epidemics, and government directives (such as requisition of accommodation or of means of transportation), embargoes; natural disasters, and accidents; and damage to the vessel (especially to the hull and engines, etc.) or other occurrences that are equivalent to the examples mentioned above in their effect (force majeure). The travel price paid will be reimbursed promptly. b) After the journey has begun: if the circumstances specified above come about after the journey has begun then both the tour operator and the traveler may terminate the contract. In that case the tour operator shall, as a consequence of the cancellation of the contract, take the necessary measures and see to the return transportation of the traveler insofar as that is agreed in the contract and is not precluded by the force majeure circumstances. If the contract is terminated the tour operator has the right to a claim only for reimbursement of the costs of the services that have been provided. The person travelling must bear the additional costs of the return transportation and/or other necessary measures. c) Changes in the water level: unusually low or high river water levels may cause changes to the itinerary, possible re-embarkation on another vessel or transfer(s) by coach or rail, or even to a shortening of the journey. The tour operator and the ship’s captain sometimes have to take such decisions quickly. Such measures may not, understandably enough, justify withdrawal from the contract by the person travelling; and passengers may not derive from them any claims on the tour operator, especially claims for compensation in damages. TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION / VISAS: All passengers must have passports valid for six months following disembarkation and necessary visas when boarding. Passengers are advised to check with their Travel Agent or their Consulate Service to determine which documents they must obtain. If incorrect documents are obtained, passengers will be unable to participate in particular shore excursions and may be denied boarding and/or entry into certain countries. Lüftner Cruises accepts no responsibility for obtaining required visas nor for advising guests of visa or other immigration requirements. INSURANCE BOND: Dr. W. Lüftner Reisen GmbH is listed in the tour operator register of the Austrian Ministry for Economics, Family and Youth under number 2004/0052. Customer money is insured by Dr. W. Lüftner Reisen GmbH with the Bank für Tirol und Vorarlberg AG in accordance with the Austrian Travel Agency Decree (RSV) for Austrian tour operators and under the following conditions. The deposit is to be paid at the earliest 11 months before the agreed end of the trip and should comprise 10% of the travel cost. The remaining sum should then be paid at the earliest 20 days before commencement of the trip – in stages on provision of the travel documents to the traveler. Any request for a deposit/remaining payment in excess of this sum or prior to this deadline is not permitted. Deposits or remaining payments are only insured to the level at which the tour operator is entitled to accept these payments. The insurance sum is predominantly used to settle payments in accordance with regulations. The guarantor is the Bank für Tirol und Vorarlberg AG, 6020 Innsbruck Stadtforum (bank guarantee no. 60962). On pain of losing entitlement to assert claims, any claims must be registered with the liquidator for the Europäische Reiseversicherung, Kratochwjlestr. 4, 1220 Vienna Tel. + 43 / 1 / 3172500, Fax: + 43 /1 /3172500-199 within 8 weeks of any occurrence of insolvency. INSURANCE: Travel Insurance is not included in the listed fares. For your own peace of mind, we recommend you take out in good time travel insurance, covering in particular possible costs of cancellation, as well as

TRAVEL 2017 damage to and/or loss of baggage, costs of possible medical treatment, repatriation services, etc. Please take advice from your travel agent. REVISIONS/CHANGES: Once a booking has a deposit, all changes are subject to a € 30 charge per change. See section above under Cancellation Policy for additional details on situations which are classified as cancellations rather than changes. CHILDREN/MINORS: Due to the nature of our cruise itineraries, Lüftner Cruises does not maintain facilities or services for children aboard their cruise vessels. On all cruises and cruise journeys, minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied and share a cabin with a parent, legal guardian or other responsible adult over the age of 21. We regret that we cannot accommodate children under 12 years of age, and we reserve the right to limit the number of minors under the age of 18 years on board. DISABLED PASSENGERS: We welcome guests with special needs. Guests who have any medical, physical or other special needs must contact their travel agent or Lüftner Cruises directly to obtain specific information. All vessels and coaches are equipped to European standards. Vessel operators will, under appropriate circumstances, permit passengers to use motorised scooters and wheelchairs that satisfy criteria confirmed by Lüftner Cruises. While most ships do have elevators allowing easy access between decks (excluding sun deck), passengers must be aware that the route to and from the ship can include obstacles (for example in the port facilities, gangways, etc.), which need to be navigated by passengers. Passengers must also be aware that the availability of the ships’ crew for assistance is severely limited. OPERATORS: The ships described in this brochure are operated by Danubia Kreuzfahrten GmbH / Vienna-Austria. LÜFTNER CRUISES: Lüftner Cruises acts solely as a Sales Agent/Preferred Supplier for the above-mentioned operators of the vessels described in this brochure. All arrangements made for tour participants with independent contractors, including medical services, are made solely for convenience to participants and are done at the participant’s own risk. Medical personnel are independent contractors. Lüftner Cruises specifically disclaims all liability for damages for emotional distress, mental suffering or psychological injury of any kind. Tickets, vouchers, and any other travel documents are subject to all terms and conditions of the respective suppliers (some of which may limit supplier’s liability). Lüftner Cruises and the owners and operators of the vessels identified in this brochure shall be entitled to any and all liability limitations, immunities and rights applicable to them or any of them under the Strasbourg Convention on the Limitation of Liability of Owners of Inland Navigation Vessels (CLNI), with protocols and amendments, together with the further provisions of the International Convention of Limitation of Liability for Maritime Claims, 1976, with revisions and amendments (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Convention”), if and as applicable, as well as any other applicable nation’s laws limiting liability. Lüftner Cruises and the owners and operators of the vessels identified in this brochure shall be entitled to claim the benefit of whichever law, regulation, treaty or doctrine provides the greatest legal protections to Lüftner Cruises and the owners and operators of the vessels identified in this brochure. REFUSAL OF PASSAGE: Lüftner Cruises shall not be required to refund any amount paid by any tour participant who must leave the tour prematurely for any reason, nor shall Lüftner Cruises or the owners or operators of the vessels identified in this brochure be responsible for the lodging, meals, return transportation or other expenses incurred by such tour participant.
