Over the last years, various cities have integrated the challenges posed by demographic change in their urban planning strategies. Key areas of action include providing accessible and adequate infrastructure, attractive and safe public space, participation and promoting social cohesion. The study compiles innovative approaches from cities with different demographic profiles.
