In the alpine environment, durability, excellent breathability, unimpaired freedom of movement and full-bore weather protection – at the lowest possible weight – are high priority attributes. That is why our ALPINISM apparel uses extremely breathable, hard-wearing fabrics – and frequently fabrics with kinetic stretch properties, which allow us to keep the cutlines neat and closefitting. points are additionally reinforced to guard against damage caused by contact with sharp items of equipment, rocks and ice. And because it is often the little things that make a big difference when you are up on the mountain, the detailing is also alpine-specific, e. g. the jacket pockets are often raised to ensure easy access when wearing a climbing harness or rucksack waist belt. Additional weather protective detailing (e. g. storm collar, storm hood) is also typical of the products in our ALPINISM line.
