ABOUT ME Hi there, I am Eunice. I was born in Southern China and I can speak native Cantonese as well as Mandarin. In my childhood, I started drawing at 6 and painting at 13, which give me a solid foundation for art and design. Based on this experience for over 10 years, I have been able to recognize the natural beauty of life, and by inspecting people and the surroundings and appreciation of other’s work, life is where I get most inspirations from. After I finished my bachelor degree in Advertising, I decided to switch to a different but relevant field, Design, and I came to UNSW in Sydney for further study. I am interested in the role about graphic design, especially branding, including VI, logo, poster, booklet, website and typeface design, equipped with PS, InDesign, AI, LR and MS Office skills.

I named the co-working space as MINDESK, which means it's a place for creative designers to think and brainstorm. Also, it can be explained as 'minimum desks' that encourage people to work collaboratively. The logo originated from the crossover of the letter M and D. The contrast of deep blue and light pink reflect the atmosphere of the open workspace, concentrative but friendly.

The logo of Cultural Creative Industry (CCI) Research Centre of JNU has two-fold symbols - as a pencil, every great ideas start from a simple sketch; but as a rocket, ideas could be free and unrestrained. Especially for the creative industry, those 'ridiculous' ideas have to break through all the existing cultural limits and social bondage. As a designer in this field, each of us ought to keep a rigorous attitude with brave and creative thoughts in mind, shined like the bright orange colour.

B a s e d o n t h e i n d u s t r i a l a n d c u l t u r a l re s e a rc h o n Domain Direct Real Estate, this redesign visual identity was proposed as one of my school projects. The colours originated from the traditional Victorian architecture within its suburb. Combined with the symbol of property and floorplan, the logo could convey the professional and welcome atmosphere to the clients.

THE ROCKS Typ eface | Bo ok Cove r | Layout

Inspired by the juxtaposition of old and new architectures and elements of The Rocks, a suburb beneath the Harbour Bridge, this typeface was created. It combines the ancient and modern compartments in each letterform based on the history and contemporary development of the area. Besides, a series of three books were named after Cumberland, George and Harrington Street, the three main streets at The Rocks. All the pages are designed for George.

tableware compartments

Communication is important for a family. This tableware set and the garden are idealy designed for a Korean family of five, grandma, parents and 2 children, who feel difficult adapting to this foreign environment. The garden combines Korean and Australian elements to help them quickly engaged in a foreign country. All compartments of the tableware set could be together explained as the word Peace in Korean, which reflects our expectation for the family atmosphere.
