PAST MA REPRESENTAT I VES EVENTUALLY ELIGIBLE FOR ELECTIONS

Introduction To assist the Member Associations in electing/selecting their 2011 RCdelegates and taking into account that those who are interested to stand for election should be attending the Regional Council, we provide you herewith with an overview of those delegates that are in compliance with the IPPFEN Regulation that stipulates that: a) to stand for election a delegate must have participated in at least 2 RCmeetings over the last 5 years not including the 2011 RC. b) the person should be able to fulfill the term of 3 years once elected without exceeding the total tenure of 12 years having attended the RC. The list below is drawn from the Regional Office historical records of RCparticipation and is solely composed from a regional perspective. This means that some of the volunteers mentioned might no longer be a volunteer or might have exceeded their maximum tenure at the MA level. The countries that are not mentioned have no eligible candidates at all and the countries in red and italic have not yet taken up a governance role in IPPF. The names of delegates that are underlined have participated in the 2010 Regional Council. The current members of the RECwill by definition be part of the MA’s 2011 delegation.
