A General Outline Of Activities Connected With Numbers Up To 100 The pupils’ grasp of ordinal numbers up to 100 should now be extended, either by using rods end to end as previously, or by using the system of crossed rods to represent multiples of numbers already learnt. There is usually little need to warn the child that he does not use a tan and a black rod end to end to represent 87.
