Welcome on board!

Dear passengers,   Thank you for choosing to sail with us. We are a family company that has had a passion for the sea for many years. You can sense the passion in our captains and crew members. You can experience the real cruise feeling on one of our ships. Our friendly, warm and helpful approach means that we are masters in the art of looking after our guests and are on hand to fulfil your every wish and request.     MSC Cruises is a shipping company founded in Italy in 1970 by Gianluigi Aponte and registered in Switzerland. It’s the world’s biggest privately held cruise company. And we are still expanding our fleet. The fleet consists of 17 ships divided in various classes: the Lirica class, Musica class, Fantasia class, Meraviglia class and Seaside class and there are still more to come. The Lirica class are the oldest and smallest ships and the Seaside class are the newest and biggest ships. Each time we build a new class we try to use the latest technology.  The itineraries are spread all across the world. We sail in  the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, the Caribbean, Cuba & Antilles, Dubai, Abu Dhabi & India, South America, South Africa, Asia and United States & Canada. Because we love the sea, we have a lot of programs to have the most eco-friendly cruise ships possible. We are continuously working to reduce our impact on board and ashore, and save as much fuel as possible. The most effective way to save fuel is by lowering the water resistance. So we do special authorisations such as anti-fouling paint on the hulls of all of ours ships to prevent hull fouling.    The MSC Orchestra is a cruise ship that entered service of in May 2007. It is part of the Musica Class. The Musica class ships are known for their spacious and elegant interiors. The MSC orchestra has 16 decks, and 1.275 cabins. The passenger/crew ratio is 2/1. We have a lot of facilities spa, fitness, swimming pool and a jogging track. We also have a lot of specialities restaurants and bars. There is always something thanks to the big entertainment program.     Once again, thank you for selecting MSC and we look forward to seeing you on board soon. .
