Count Valmont: He is a very seductor man. Everyone knows who is this man and his sexual stories. He is a young man who is very atractive and he knows it. It is a swindler and he does everything to get social recognition. Madame de Tourvel:She is a young woman who has grown with Cristian sisters and for that reason she is very traditional, she is clever and she has very strong personality.

There was were a lot of flowers, trees and brushes. The rich people used to stroll around. 4ªDo you think that they are genuine people? What do Mme de Merteuil and the Viscount of Valmont use to dress up in front of the people? Which physical or material elements do they use to build their social identity? They aren't genuine people at all. They are only aristocracy people whose worries are leisure time and sexual stories. However, the normal people are asking how to pay their duties and how to get money to eat, at least, one time a day. Count Valmont and Mme du Merteuil are the clear examples of hypocritical aristocracy who wear their very expensive clothes and the only they want is to mantain their social scale. They have high culture knowledge. they only worry about the people to trick them. Mme of Merteuil and the Viscount of valmont are both aristocracy characters. Their personality is pure hypovesy to show certain goodress that they don't have. They go to the theatre, wear the best and the most expensive clothes and the newest make up. They are only worried about mantein their social scale. A social scale that owns to “ The Illustration” 5- In the film you can find people who aren't what they are supposed to be. The society of that age was based in rules, conventions, and traditions which stooped people from being what they really were. What are the objective that each character wants to meet? What means to they use to get those objectives? Are they really happy? Madame de Merteuil wanted to avenge his ex lover. She wasn't happy. Viscount of Valmont wanted Madame de Merteuil like a lover. He had to do a challenge for obtain his objective, but finally he couldn't do it. At the end of the film he fell in love with Madame de Tourvel. Finally he was unhappy and died.


6º Quina dona de les que hi apareix a la pel·lícula et sembla més moderna, més atrevida, més d'acord a l'esperit del segle de les Llums reflectit a l'expressió sapere aude? Mme de Merteuil,Mme de Tourvel, Cécile de Volanges, sa mare...? Justifica la teua resposta. Madam de Marteuil, perquè es capaç de raonar, pendre desicions per si mateixa i no deixa que la manipulen. 7- Diríeu que Mme de Tourvel és una persona ''major d'edat'' d'acord a l'ètica de Kant? Hi ha algun canvi en aquesta situació al llarg de la pel·lícula? Justifica la teua resposta utilitzant els teus coneixements. Mme de Tourvel segons l'ètica de Kant no és una persona ''major d'edat'' perquè ella és fàcil de manipular i no és capaç d’oposar-se. També en la pel·lícula apareix que ella llig un llibre sobre la religió, és a dir que creu en la superstició i no en la raó. La pel·lícula és una crítica a la moral i els costums de l’aristocràcia durant el segle XVIII. Elabora tu aquesta crítica. Un element molt important és l’escena final de Mme de Merteuil, el desenllaç de Valmont, etc. Luxe, seducció, erotisme i venjances al més alt nivell es donen cita en este drama d'època ambientat en el segle XVIII. Un gran dolc interpretatiu sosté el magistral text de Laclos, un viatge embriagador a l'essència i misteri de l'atracció entre els sexes que enxiqueix la pràctica totalitat dels guions de cine -de les últimes dècadesque intenten desentranyar el joc de la seducció. Personalment, pense que fou una època en la qual les dones estaven molt controlades i que cada sexe tenia unes feines a fer.
