For use in temperatures down to -26°C

Can be used in damp environments

ICE consists of a 2-component mix with a curing agent and a base. When these two are mixed together in the designated nozzle, the properties of the chemical anchor arise. Since the mixing takes place outside of the cartridge, in the replaceable mixing nozzle, the same cartridge can be used on several occasions without spoiling the content.

USER GUIDE FOR PROPER MOUNTING OF CHEMICAL ANCHOR

FOR PROPER MOUNTING

CURING TIMES

THIS IS HOW YOU USE ECM

Base material temperature [°C]

In order to achieve safe and approved fixing it is important to follow the step-by-step instructions.

Drill

Blow

Brush

The drill hole diameter should up to M16 be 2 mm larger than the iron/bolt that is to be fixed. See Technical data for further information.

Use air pump or compressed air to blow the hole clean from dust. Use at least four blows. If you do not clean the hole from dust the resin will not anchor to the walls of the hole.

In order to remove additional dust from the surface of the walls of the hole, clean the hole with a brush that is suitable for the diameter of the hole. At least four brush strokes.

Do not use a vacuum cleaner. It will not yield the same result.

Blow Air blow the hole one more time. Remember to always blow from the bottom of the hole.

Finish by blowing the hole clean in order to reach maximum adhesion.

Brush the hole out one more time. Rotate the brush down and pull out.

Mix Always start off by dispensing a string of the resin until you get an even grey color. (Approx. 2 strokes). Mixing occurs by blending the curing agent and the base in the designated nozzle’s labyrinth system.*

Fill & fixate Fill at least 2/3 of the hole and turn the iron/ bolt down. Turning removes possible air pockets and provides for optimal adhesion between the bolt and resin.

Right color tone * Each tube contains a greater amount of chemical anchor than reported in the table of contents in order to compensate for waste at mixing.

Do not touch resin that may ooze out. Leave it to dry and hammer it off later.

Curing time

The tube should be adjusted to 0°C at the lowest.* Storage temperature: +5°C to +25°C. Keep out of direct sunlight.
