TIME TEAM IN CASTOR! Tony Robinson and the Time Team crew have been in Peterborough on an archaeological dig in Castor. They spent three days in and around the church grounds, well known for being built on the site of Roman ruins. Villagers got the chance to have a sneaky peek at some of the skeletal remains they discovered on special tours organised by the production company, but the rest of us will have to wait until next year to see their findings on the show.

Warwick Davis will be appearing in person at the Macmillan Frog Race at Peterborough Greyhound Stadium, Fengate on July 1. Presenter Paul Stainton had a great laugh competing and told ESP – “We won the first race by ten lengths and then got carried away! Our boat included listeners, members of Peterborough rugby club, Anna Elmore from Waterstones, Lib Dem Darren Fower, Steve Thorpe from the Free Kicks charity... and anybody else who wanted to wear our lovely pink T shirts supplied by Chroma Sports. Thank you to everybody who took part and gave up their spare time. It was worth the aches and pains and pinkness!” It was great day and you can see photos from the day in this month’s ESP Paparazzi.
