£1.4bn Funding Available for Green Economic Growth Deadline for bids 21st January 2011. The Regional Growth Fund (RGF) was launched by the Government on 28th October. The RGF will be a challenge fund spread over several bidding rounds with the applications considered against the fund’s core criteria and objectives. Applications that meet one of the two objectives will be considered, but those that meet both will have priority. Read more…

A £2million Funding Opportunity for CCS Tool-Kit Deadline for submitting an intention to make a proposal is the 26th November and the closing date is the 17th December. A modelling tool-kit is to be developed by The Energy Technologies Institute (ETI) to help industry, technology developers and the Government plan for the future of Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) in the UK. ‘Innovating for a Sustainable Growth’ Success Held at the beautiful London Wetlands venue last month, this full day interactive workshop discussed opportunities in working with the ESKTN on collaborative projects aswell as providing information to attendees seeking to acquire knowledge and tools to make them and their organisation better equipped to succeed in the low carbon economy.
