How would you compare this year’s success to your previous seasons? It’s nice to win a championship for sure. As our family team is the co-organiser of the series, I didn’t attend all races, as my goal was also to help other drivers and to test different cars if they had issues. So, as I mentioned, it’s a good feeling but also in the past I had some great races in other championships which honestly mean more to me than this championship. Which race of the season was the best for you? And which one was the unluckiest one? For me, the best race was the second race at Grobnik where I started from the last place due to technical issues and then finished in third place with a photo finish of the first 3 drivers. The race weekend at Brno was very bad for me, as I had some technical issues during the whole weekend. To what extent has the COVID pandemic influenced your race preparations? For sure, there were issues because of the COVID pandemic, more for us as a team than for me as a driver, especially with travelling to and from race weekends due to the travel limitations. Have you also participated in other races apart from the Central European zone? No, this year I took part only in the Twingo Cup which was part of the FIA CEZ. What are your plans for the next season? For sure, I have some wishes and plans but it depends. I would like to race in one or two TCR Eastern Europe races and I hope to do at least the race at Grobnik.
