MANGO PEOPLE Don’t blend in, stand out Mango People was established in January, 2014 to provide the most contemporary products from around the world. Anannya, the Cofounder of Mango People, was highly inspired by the beauty and magic of Sky Lanterns showcased in Tangled (a Disney movie) and wanted people to experience the same in India. There was a high demand for the product back then, especially for events like birthdays, weddings, festivals and even corporate events. It gave a brand a kick start and there was no stopping! Mango People has always looked forward to such products which are not only contemporary but are also of high quality and are something which makes your life even more happening than what it already is. Anannya and Harsh soon realised that there were not many brands in India which provided quirky, cool and out-of-box products especially like tech accessories, office supplies and home furnishing. Anannya being from a design college, Pearl Academy has always been inspired by Surrealism and Popart and therefore, a huge range of creative and artistic lifestyle products were soon launched which are the “neverseen” kind and would make anyone fall in love with them. Mango People is different from all other similar stores in the market because of the huge product range that we have that is not available in most stores. Also, the way we interact and create engagement with our customers is something that the customer loves! We believe in 100% customer satisfaction and therefore, provide the best quality products at affordable prices. PUSHPAK VIMAAN by Sravani and Smarani PushpakVimaan was started about 2 years ago by siblings Sravani and Smarani. Starting a label has always been their mother’s dream; hence came to life this modest endeavour to fulfil her vision. “We are inspired by everything from the engraving detail of an antique headboard to the flowers in our backyard. With each collection, we try to tell a story through our motifs. We are intrigued by all things impossible; hence all our stories are a conversation with the surreal world. The collection – ‘Aham’ is an expression of the ultimate dream, the ultimate dreamer. A journey inspired by the search for the Supreme Being; within or without. AhamBrahmasmi.Tattvamasi. Our ¬¬¬design process, more often than not starts from an illustration of a character. This goes on to the story, he or she is trying to tell, which sets the mood for the entire collection. From conceptualizing and perfecting the tiny niceties to creating a playful dialogue between the fall and structure of our outfits; our studio is all about the love for details.
