Vanessa
Forbes
was
 appointed
vice‐president,
public
relations
at
International
Food
Products
Corporation
–
Canada
 on
Jan.
3,
2011.
She
is
responsible
for
all
public
relations
activities,
including
the
company’s
 sponsorship
of
Olympic
athletes.

Her

follows
a
consistent

food.
She
was
a
communications
manager
at
Nestle
 Food
Products
and
also
gained
managerial
experience
at
Superior
Foods.

 Canada,
Forbes
returns
to
the
industry
she
knows
and
loves.

 Forbes
earned
an
MBA
from
the
University
of
British
Columbia
in
1995
and
graduated
with
a
BA
 in
political
science
from
the
University
of
Toronto
in
1992.
In
2009,
she
won
the
International
 Association
of
Business
Communicators’
Gold
Quill
Award
of
Excellence
in
Communication
 Management.
 
 Forbes
lives
in
Toronto
with
her
husband
and
two
daughters.
In
her
spare
time,
she
coaches
the
 Toronto
YMCA
teen
basketball
league.
Having
represented
Canada
on
the
women’s
ski
team
in
 the
1992
Winter
Olympics,
Forbes
spends
her
weekends
on
the
slopes
of
Osler
Ski
Club.

 
 When
she’s
not
hitting
the
moguls,
you
can
find
her
working
on
her
golf
game.
