This database also includes access to news through many sources such as newspapers, magazines and broadcast transcripts and also provides company information by searching company names or ticker symbols. Note that the legal portion of the database is available only in the library and not remotely. • RENEW ITEMS VIA TEXT ALERTS TO YOUR CELL PHONE. When you receive a courtesy text message on your cell phone, you can reply to that text message with the word RENEW. About future Merrick Library Newsletters...

The Library’s informative quarterly newsletter can be viewed via this link: www.merricklibrary.org. We encourage you to visit the website on a regular basis. There you’ll also find all the electronic resources the Library has gathered for you. As we do now we will continue to offer future MKL newsletters at the Library as well as at the website. We would like to stop sending the newsletter to each Merrick household via U.S. Postal Service.

That would result in savings on printing and eliminate the cost of postage.

We would like to hear from YOU on this matter. Please let us know what you think by email to ellenfirer@merricklibrary.org (put newsletter in the subject line), or by using one of the suggestion forms at the Circulation Desk. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR INPUT.
