ho am I is a question I find difficult to answer sometimes, so usually when asked, I start with the basics. I was born on a very, very, very cold Wednesday morning on January 15, 1997. My parents have always said that I have been very aware of my surroundings and in charge of myself. Growing up, I would say that I’ve overall was an easy-going kid. My parents are truly some of the best parents one earth, and that is a completely unbiased opinion. I was an only child for 3 years and in 2001 my best friend, aka, my brother was born. I always think about how before him, I don’t remember much, but once I had someone to share things with I remember a lot more. My mom always said that I thought I was my brothers second mom, but I think that was just apart of my nurturing personality. At times she said I could be a little bit bossy but Id like to say that it was just apart of me exploring the leadership qualities that I possess. As a child, one of my favorite ‘pretend’ games to play with my brother was school. I loved anything that required me to create and when playing school i could come up with assignments, seating charts and “field trips” we could go on. Creativity has always been something ive been passionate about and playing school allowed me to do so. I would always use up all of the printer paper making assignments and one year for Christmas I even got a stocking full of offic supplies as a gag gift because I would often use up the supplies. So when asked who am I? Maybe the answer is a nurturing, creative, inspired individual who’s been this way since I could rememember.

ducation is very important in my family. Both of my parents have their doctoral degrees. Choosing a college after high school was slightly difficult. I wanted to go somehwhere I felt comfortable at but I also wanted to go somewhere, where I felt like I was stepping out on my own. Getting college acceptance letters was very humbling to say the least. I didnt get into my top choice so facing the fact that I did not get in was some adversity that I had to deal with. The University of West Georgia, however turned out tobe be my perfect match. The sport managent program, helped to mold me into a better person as far as my knowledge of the industry.

Why Sports Management? Going into college, i had no idea what i wanted to be when i came out of it. i rememeber going into orientationand just choosing what i thought i would be interested in. Ultimately, it worked out. I chose sport managment because I have a drive to want to chang how woman are viewed in the sports industry. I have been intrested in the way sports work since i could remember and the sport managment program helped me find my way as well as educated me on what i needed to excel in the workforce.

Why Mass Communications? Mass Commuications seemed like a perfect choice to focus on as my mino, I couldlearn about the various forms of communications and also add to mys skillset through the course I took. It heped me really focus in on what I really wanted to do with my degree.
