Erica Noll Postmortem Overall, I thought this project was fun, and easier than the comic even though it took a lot longer. I felt I could use my creativity while writing my script, and enjoyed being able to have fun with the story. At first I was a little intimidated, but I just took one of my ideas from the plotfest, and let my imagination go. Once I started writing it became easier to see where my story was going, and I wrote faster because I knew what I wanted my characters to do. Writer’s block was only an issue at one point during the process, and after stepping away from my project for a couple of hours, I was able to look at it with fresh ideas again. There were also some spots I felt I did a really good job with having my characters sound like they were real people, as well as areas I could have made more realistic. For example, at the end when my characters profess their love it sounds kind of cheesy, but I wanted it to be almost comedic in that way. So whether it was a good or bad thing is up to the individuals who read my script. At the end, I felt very satisfied with what I had written, and I feel like I did a good job, considering this is the first script I have ever written.
