Horse Shoes for Charity Brought to you in part by BWD Equine Services & Guild Recycling Corp

This unique charitable program will allow equestrians from all over Ontario to participate in the fund raising efforts of the Jumping For Dreams program as part of the 2012 Canadian Show Jumping Tournament. Over the year, hundreds of horses have their feet trimmed and their shoes replaced. This adds up to thousands of steel and aluminum shoes that end up in the garbage and ultimately in our landfills. BWD Equine Services will collect theses donated shoes at the Caledon Equestrian Park all summer long at their blacksmith shop. They will also bring their used shoes from other jobs to add to the total. Individual barns are invited to save up and drop off their used shoes when they visit the Caledon Equestrian Park throughout the summer. Guild Recycling Corp. has generously agreed to provide the recycling containers for collection. At the Canadian Show Jumping Tournament in September, these used steel and aluminum shoes will then be collected by Guild Recycling, weighed and recycled into new metals. Guild will donate all proceeds to the Children’s Wish Foundation as part of the Jumping For Dreams program. During the CSJT, a Horse Shoe Tournament and draw will be held allowing participants to guess the final weight of steel shoes and aluminum shoes. Each lucky winner will receive a special prize at the conclusion of the 2012 show season. Please help us keep old horseshoes from filling our landfills and support the Children’s Wish Foundation at the same time. In support of the Children’s Wish Foundation Saturday and Sunday, September 22 & 23
