s we approach the holiday season, the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) is ready to wrap up a successful 2016 and move on to an exciting 2017. With the achievements of our 2016 U.S. Olympic Equestrian Teams, Equestrian Magazine looks at U.S. Olympic champions of the past. All 2016 USEF National Championships have been completed and titles have been won. Check out what was Seen and Heard around the Championships. As we get ready for the holiday season, we have a gift guide for the equestrians in your life, as well as gift wrapping ideas with spare supplies from your tack trunk. The USEF staff is busy behind the scenes gearing up for the 2017 Annual Meeting. Equestrian Magazine previews the dynamic new aspects the meeting will offer, including the new strategic plan that will be presented by incoming USEF President Murray Kessler and the 100th Anniversary Celebration hosted by outgoing President Chrystine Tauber. If you’re looking for ways to engage with the USEF and the sport, we have 10 ways to get involved with the organization and utilize your membership. Whether you’ll be spending your holidays at home with loved ones or in the barn preparing for 2017, we wish all equestrians a joyful holiday season and a happy New Year!
