Accomplishments: • A new Library was set up in Markaz al-Khansa’ (Ruseifah), Jordan’s sole female protection centre. The Library includes a book selection of Arabic and English titles, board games, puzzles and a librarian’s computer. • As part of our commitment to literacy 700 books were added to the Mubarrat Um al-Hussein Library, Marka; 150 books to the Anjara Children’s Library and 250 books to the HCAW, Amman.

Equal Opportunity Initiative

Equipping children in underdeveloped areas with lifelong literacy skills, this project stimulates critical thinking as well as encourages reading-for-leisure in children.
