Camp FUNdations

20!4 Camp Guide We’re not just hanging out this summer.

Fun for Summer

Foundations for Life

Welcome to the Episcopal Day School (EDS) summer program, Summer FUNdations. Open to all children in and around Augusta, Camp FUNdations’ mission is to provide campers with not only a safe, loving environment for summer fun, but also one that nourishes the individual spirit and mind of each child. Unlike other area camps that focus on simply entertaining children, Camp FUNdations strives to accomplish EDS’ goal for its students - to provide an excellent education, within a Christian environment, that will nurture each child’s intellectual curiosity, social responsibility, and spiritual awareness. Our campers will not only gain self-esteem and confidence, but will also cultivate new friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. About Episcopal Day School EDS was founded in 1944 by the Church of the Good Shepherd as a Christian kindergarten and childcare resource for Augusta mothers working in the war effort. In 1962 EDS was the first area school to integrate — a decade before court-ordered desegregation. Today, EDS continues to provide Augusta with the highest value of education for its youth with an unmatched balance of challenging academics and spiritual development. Our beautiful Walton Way campus is as familiar to many Augustans as the Church of the Good Shepherd, whose grounds and values we share.
