Zumba

Zumba is the rapidly growing next fitness sensation and best of all it’s FUN. It’s a fusion of Latin and International music - dance themes creating a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system! The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that will tone and sculpt the body. Zumba utilizes the principles of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning and total body toning. It targets areas such as glutes, legs, arms, abdominals and the most important muscle in the body - the heart. Come and join the party! Limit: 35 4727-01 (Morning Class)

This level of Zumba is for anyone who wants to “shake it” easy. It’s a great workout for beginners, active older adults, and anyone needing modifications in his/her exercise routine. The same popular Latin-dance music is used. The moves are broken down and modifications are shown to make this party-like workout available to more people. This class is not suitable for individuals who require a chair-based option. Limit: 50 4726-01

We have added more Zumba options to fit your fitness level and schedule.

Parenting with Love and Logic is a parenting philosophy that teaches practical skills for interacting with your children, avoiding power struggles, stopping arguments and back talk, and getting chores done without reminders. By learning from their mistakes when they are young, children will learn to accept responsibility for their actions and make better choices as they grow older. Try this Approach to Parenting Your School-Age Child

Have you tried a reward and punishment system to motivate your child to change his/her behavior, but with little success to show for it? Or a top-down approach with the hope of getting your child to conform to your expectations, with few positive results? Children really do want to do well and please their adult caregivers. Often, however, they lack the necessary skills to comply. We will use an approach based on collaborative problem solving. This approach will teach you how to listen to your child and help you and your child work together to solve problems. Each session will be divided among instruction time (watching videos and analyzing instructor- presented vignettes) and guided support from the instructor to problem-solve individual group members’ situations.
