MY FIRST TIME WEAVING By Rachel I like learning new things! This time I am learning to weave. I loved when I received a check in the mail from selling things I made before. At Frick Center I learned how to make rugs and pillows, and now loom weaving! I have ideas. I want to make my own patterns for dolls and I know how to sew. I am friends with everyone at Frick. I know how to do more and more things that I used to not know. That is how I am.
BLUE RUG By Lillian D. Rug. Tie it up through the hole. Put it in the hole. Tie it up. Put it inside. I pick the colors. Orange, yellow, and blue. They're my favorite. I sell it for a hundred dollars. I sold two before for $50. I feel good. My favorite part is when I sold it. I've been making rugs for 3 months. I like to sell the rugs, tie it up. I like it!

PUTTIN' THE LEGS ON By Yolanda B.
I enjoy working with the horses - doing their legs. Sometimes I can put on the eyes. I do the legs because the eyes are getting a little too hard. I'll try it. Because if I can't do it, I give it to someone else to do it. I do the legs - everyone got something they can do. Get the job done. Sometimes the material is really hard. I like the softer material. It's fun to do!
THANK YOU KENDALL By Jamie P.
I love to do the loom at Westtown because it's my favorite. I move my hands and do the colors - different colors, like rainbow colors. Kendall from The Weaving Mill helped show me how to space the colors. On Friday January 14, 2022 I made a pillow to sell it for Envision Unlimited.

MY PROJECTS By Trevell Jordan
I am 38 years old from Chicago. My favorite color is blue and purple. I am designing ties. I designed a vest with a disc jockey logo for a project and I am trying to sell it. I have to do the lines and focus. I am learning how to make a rug for the first time. I think I did a good job.
The best thing about Nashville Center is it is a place to work hard, pay attention and focus. I am a DJ for Diversey. I want to make music for Christmas and Valentine's parties. My type of music is country, rap and Hip Hop clean version (no curse on it) and dancing music. My dream job will be to be a boss of a DJ business.

THE STORY OF THE KNIGHTS OF NO TABLE By Abdul S. This is a story about a group of knights that really want to get together and do stuff but they have no table to sit at together. They ask around to see if anyone has an extra table. Everyone they ask says "no" to them.
Eventually they give up trying to get together because they have nowhere to sit.

ARTICLE ABOUT WE GO TO LIBRARY OUTING By Jamie P. I went to Logan Square Branch Chicago Public Library. I see people sitting down, minding their own business. I read a poems book called Empty Bottles. It was really good and make me think about what happened inside the book, really sad. I felt the stories about a girl who's upset about her life. After that, I read Break Your Glass Slippers poetry book. Really inspired by the poems book Make Me Think Your Brain.
SHORT ARTICLE ABOUT THE LIBRARY By Marcus W. This is a short article about the library. I pick a book called the book of Ballads. The book was so amaze. It has a lot of fun when I read it so much. I enjoy reading it. I really enjoy it. "I never went to the library in two years," I said. "Maybe I'll go again!" The article is very short. I really like it. It has a lot of pages. I saw a lot of pages in the book.
