Kunst erleben geht nicht nur in Museen oder Galerien – sondern auch unter freiem Himmel. Bestes Beispiel dafür ist die 10. Ausgabe der Veranstaltung «Kunstwege | Vias d’art Pontresina». Zwölf Kunstschaffende aus Graubünden und aus der Romandie haben sich zum Motto «Publikationen zur Schönheit» mit Pontresina und dem Engadin auseinandergesetzt. Die entstandenen 24 Werke schmücken vom 27. Juni bis 15. Oktober 2020 die Via Maistra, die in diesem Fall als Bühne in Erscheinung tritt. Die Ausstellung soll dabei nicht als Dekoration dienen. Vielmehr soll der Diskurs von Ansichten und Einsichten und der Austausch von Bündner Künstlern mit Vertretern anderer Regionen im Mittelpunkt stehen. Zudem sollen die Installationen den Einwohnerinnen und Einwohnern sowie den Gästen Anlass für die freie Interpretation geben. Für den Besuch aller 24 Kunstwerke benötigt man rund zwei Stunden zu Fuss.
The best places to enjoy art? In museums and galleries, for sure – but also in the open air. A perfect example of this is the 10th edition of “Kunstwege | Vias d’art Pontresina”. Twelve artists from Graubünden and French-speaking Switzerland have explored different aspects of Pontresina and the Engadin under the theme of “Publications about beauty”. The resulting 24 works of art adorn the village’s main street, the Via Maistra, which functions as an openair stage for the duration of the show from 27 June to 15 October 2020. The exhibition is intended not just as decoration or entertainment, but to promote an exchange of views and insights between Grau bünden artists and repre sentatives from other regions. It also aims to encourage public discussion: installations invite locals and guests to dream up their own interpretations and share them. Allow about 2 hours on foot to see all 24 works of art.
