The company’s new Falcon 8 drone has special technology; the drone has triple-redundant technology and an inertial movement unit or IMU. The drone therefore takes steady images, even at wind speeds of 10-12 m/s. The technology allows the eight propellers on the drone to compensate for weather conditions. The drone hovers steadily without the drone pilot having to react. The drone is particularly suitable for offshore work, e.g. in connection with inspection and mapping work. The company can fly the drone with a digital camera and a thermographic camera in the same payload.
