Entrepreneur Development and Empowerment: Entrepreneur skills development is at the core of what we do. It is a simple equation: by developing people’s skills, we empower them to support themselves, grow their companies and hire people. ==================================================

Close to 20,204 training hours were provided. With an overall 93% satisfaction level, Enablis members know that they benefit from the best available programs and services to meet their needs. ============== 000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

18 members across Africa are also greatly benefiting from their participation in the International Mentoring Program, an elite program dedicated to bringing together people who share similar challenges on separate continents. ================

JOBS CREATED GLOBALLY

Jobs are a cornerstone of development1 and are critical for reducing poverty and providing youth with alternatives to violence. “A good job can change a person’s life, and the right jobs can transform entire societies. Governments need to move jobs to center stage to promote prosperity and fight poverty,” says WORLD BANK GROUP President Jim Yong Kim

/\///\///\///\///\///\///\///\///\///\///\///\///\///\///\///\///\///\///\///\///\//

We are proud to say that our efforts at supporting a vibrant small and medium-sized business sector are really paying off. As we empower ideas and people, Enablis entrepreneurs are effectively creating jobs and changing lives. According to the Enablis 2012 annual members’ survey, our 2,414 members have collectively created an average of 8 full time and part time jobs per entrepreneur. This means that Enablis has helped create close to 20,000 jobs on the African continent and that these people will have a chance to share in the proceeds of growth. 1

JOBS CREATED AT LOW COST

Additionally, Enablis has managed to significantly improve the cost effectiveness of its model. The average annual support cost per Enablis member has fallen from $ 8,035 in 2007 to $ 972 in 2012 in South and East Africa thanks to economies of scale and improvements in program delivery. The average cost per job created has also dropped from $ 1,105 to $ 106. In contrast, in the United States, the cost of one ‘stimulus job’ was estimated to be $ 71,500 in 2009. /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\

THE ENABLIS INDEPENDENT ANNUAL MEMBER SURVEY

The member survey is one of the most important tools for us to reflect on our achievements and to develop and improve our model in the interests of our members and donors. /////////// The annual member survey is conducted every year by an independent research firm in countries where Enablis has been in operation long enough to establish a meaningful sample size. It measures Enablis’ impact based on a number of variables: demographics, job creation, satisfaction with Enablis programs and more. ))))))))))<<<<<<))))))))))<<<<<<)))))))))<<<<<<)))))))))<<<<<<))))))))))<<<<<<))))))))))<<<<<< The survey for 2012 fiscal year was conducted for the 3rd time in Kenya, for the 2nd time in Tanzania, for the 1st time in Ghana and for the 6th time in South Africa. It once again demonstrated that Enablis is delivering its mandate to provide first-class programing and support for entrepreneurs. <><><><><><><><><><>
