LOCATION: All Summer Arts classes are held at the Emporia Arts Center at 815 Commercial St. in Emporia, KS, unless otherwise noted. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE: The Emporia Arts Center is NOT responsible for a child’s care before or after a class. Please drop off and pick up your child promptly. You (or an adult designated by you) will be asked to sign your child in and out before leaving the area. Children under the age of ten must be picked up from their specific classroom. AGE: Register your child for the grade that they are going into, not the grade they just completed. CLASS FEES: Payment is required at time of enrollment. Art supplies for all classes are included in class fees. ENROLLMENT: Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. EAC can only reserve your space in a class if you pay at the time of enrollment. Students must be registered at least one day prior to the class. Please do not show up for a class and expect for there to be a spot available. REFUNDS: We reserve the right to cancel a class for any reason. In the rare case that this happens, we will refund the entire class fee, or a make up class could be provided. If a student is not able to attend a class, EAC is NOT responsible for providing a make up class or refund. Students will watch wheel throwing demonstrations and get an idea of some hand building projects that they can make in the 4 week sessions (pages 3233). No projects will be kept from this class - demonstration only.

Macramé is a textile-making craft using knotting rather than weaving or knitting. In this class you will learn the basic knots of macramé to create bracelets!

We are so excited to bring Culinary Arts back to EAC! This is a perfect opportunity for kids and adults to be introduced to new cooking experiences and have fun! All classes have a maximum of 8 students and payment is required at time of enrollment.
