Empiezan las grandes regatas de clase Crucero The Great Regattas in the Cruiser Class Begin Las dos pruebas más participativas de la clase crucero que se celebran en Menorca cada año ya están en marcha. La Menorca Sant Joan-Trofeo Alfonso XIII que organiza el Club Marítimo de Mahón en colaboración con el RCN Barcelona se celebrará entre el 22 y el 24 de este mes de junio. La primera prueba será una regata de altura entre Barcelona y Maó, mientras que la segunda será una en el interior del puerto mahonés. La organización espera una nutrida participación. Por otro lado, la Interclubes que organiza el Club Nàutic Ciutadella con barcos de varios clubes de Balears, se celebró el día 7 de mayo con 24 embarcaciones inscritas, aunque solo 10 lograron acabarla por la falta de viento. El barco del CN Ciutadella, ‘Txica Checa’ se hizo con el triunfo final, seguido del ‘Alba III’ del Club Marítimo de Mahón.
The two most participatory competitions of the cruiser class that are held in Minorca each year are already under way. El ‘Calima’ de Javier Pujol (Club Marítimo de Mahón) y el ‘Filigranes’ de Marc Riera (Club Náutico Fornells) son los nuevos campeón de Balears de Crucero en la clase RI3 y RI4, respectivamente, en un campeonato celebrado en Menorca y con pleno insular. En RI3, siguieron al ‘Calima’ el ‘Jin Tonic’ (Es Nàutic) de Miguel Pons y el Chica Txeca (Es Nàutic) de Toni Pons. En el RI4, la segunda posición fue para el ‘S’Embui’ (Es Nàutic) de Miguel Marquès y el Llamp de Joan Pons (CM Mahón).
An Absolute Victory for the Island in the Regional Competition The ‘Calima’ belonging to Javier Pujol (Club Marítimo de Mahón) and Marc Riera’s ‘Filigranes’ (Club Náutico Fornells) are the new champions of the Balearic Islands in the RI3 and RI4 classes, respectively, in a championship held in Minorca and with an absolute victory for the island.
