EASY WAY


Maximum protection, only where required. Both models TKE 553 and 551 are equipped with local guards, 550 mm blades and blade feed driven by hydro-pneumatic cylinders. The local guards are innovative in their design. They are the result of a research project aimed at making the cutting units extremely practical to use by providing local isolation during processing. The quick and exact movement of the guards makes them very ergonomic and functional during cutting.


EXTREMELY PRECISE Adjust your clamps. It has never been easier or quicker. The Tekna cutting-off machines have the quickest and safest clamp adjusting system, unparalleled on the market. Horizontal and vertical adjustment is managed using preconfigured positions that ensure any type of profile will be clamped perfectly. Optionally, it is possible to view the previously registered clamp position for the same cut directly on the control. Also as an option, TKE 553 can be equipped with the revolutionary, interactive DIGICLAMP clamp control system which guides the operator by lighting up the clamp anchoring points with LED lights.

Always “made to measure�. TKE 553, 551 can be equipped with the electronic profile thickness measuring system. This very handy option automatically measures the height of the profile once it is loaded onto the machine. The machine imports the measurement and automatically compensates for any errors, making sure the pieces are cut perfectly to the required size.

LOOK THROUGH Innovation at the right investment. The 551 model is positioned as “entry level” , although guaranteeing innovation and advanced performance. It is simplified but only where necessary, all for the benefit of pricing/competitiveness in the market. The inclination of each head, up to 22°30’ outwards, takes place via two circular guides positioned on four pairs of steel rollers. This solution, subject to patent, allows you to eliminate any cutting area obstruction, with the advantage of positioning and blocking the profile and offers greater rigidity to traditional systems. Positioning via absolute magnetic band eliminates the necessity of the axes reference and connected cycle times.

Light protection. The automatic local guards of the heads made of scratch-proof polycarbonate, are powered by a pneumatic cylinder with an anti-crushing device that resets the pneumatic load in the closing phase. They are mounted on a laterally sliding system to protect the operator in the best way possible in any cutting operation.

Simplified control. The ergonomic and extremely advanced control panel uses a 5.7” touch screen display and completely customised software and is full of features developed specifically for this machine. The machining cycle is optimised by the creation of the cutting lists, thus allowing the reduction of waste and the decrease in times for the workpiece load-unload.
